Zero stars!!!!! I want to share this for people that take their children to this dentist or looking…read morefor a dentist ! My suggestion avoid Oregon Ped with everything you have! Thankfully I went in to the room with my 10 year old daughter while she had to get a silver cap on her tooth. -Starting off, my daughter has gone to the dentist since she started getting teeth, she's never been too scared. Yea it sucks but she gets through it. -Amelia NOW has been traumatized by this dentist TWO times!!!! -First time he pulled the tooth with out her mouth being numb as she screamed in pain he continued to pull her tooth ignoring the fact she felt it!!! (Dad was there not me this time)As a parent I just thought maybe it was a flop and won't possibly happen again. Wow was I wrong -moving on to yesterday 9-28-23 Amelia asked me if what they were doing hurts, I don't know so I asked the nurse while Amelia was getting prepped, the nurse said it may hurt a little just like a pinch (I will not lie to my daughte, if I say it won't hurt and it does then she will not ever trust me again) "THE DENTIST CAME IN AND SAID WELL NO WONDER SHE IS PANICING, you think I'm going to hurt her?!" Who is this man!? Second time I was in the room because she was having a panic attack . I tried to calm her down but I wasn't helping, the DOCTOR LITTERALLY SAID TO MY DAUGHTER"we can do this the hard way or the easy way, hopefully you chose the easy way" WTF (I should have walked out at this point) now mind you my daughter is the sweetest kindest hearted person ever and I can barely yell at her for anything!! She finally calmed down after the "laughing gas"(honestly I don't think he gave her enough of that) then he started doing whatever before her mouth was numb AGAIN! as she screamed it hurts he tried to keep going until I had to yell at him "if she says it hurts it hurts, Jesus Christ !!!!" Then he gave her another shot to help numb again. Horrible experience and I'll never put my kids in that awful situation again! Just horrible. Not comforting at all and very rude ! If you do end up taking your child to this dentist please go back to the room with them. He does not listen to the children and just wants to get what he needs to get done. He has too many patience and not enough time to care. Please please please, this man is awful and now my daughter(and myself) is traumatized by the man and most likely all dentists! Please, for the sake of your children. Edit :I filed a complaint to the board and emailed story to wtol and 13 abc news. Let's hope we get him shut down so no other child has to experience this ever again!

While at first we were happy with the treatment that Dr. Branam's office provided to our children,…read morewe quickly began to question some of his methods. The fact that the parents were not allowed to go with the child for the exam to "encourage independence" seemed like an acceptable idea even though we were somewhat uncomfortable with it. This has led to our planned exit from entrusting Dr. Branam with our children's care. The problem has risen because without the parent's consent on multiple occasions now they have treated our children with uncovered procedures thus sticking us with bills for uncovered procedures that the insurance will not cover. Not allowing the parents to accompany the children in the exam rooms, providing treatments without consent, then expecting the parents to pay the uncovered bill is totally unacceptable. Although they may specialize in pediatric dentistry and handle the children well, they obviously are lining their pockets with additional money by performing services not covered by insurance and doing so without any interactions with the parent. After 3 instances of getting stuck with uncovered expenses that we were not consulted on, we will be looking for a new dentist.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!! Where do I start... this…read moreplace is so crooked! I have not had a cavity in 30+ years BUT they tell me I'm cavity prone (age 63, total 2 cavities in my life when I drank coffee w/sugar-& not 1 since age 30 I stopped sweet coffee). Said they would not service me if I didn't agree to xrays every 6 months, which is NOT needed! They automatically add flouride without telling me (again I'm not cavity prone!) & charge me extra. My insurance company informed me they provide them with $ for Covid sanitation supplies & should not charge me, but they charged me so they got paid twice for that! My only 2 fillings I have, they told me both needed to be replaced. Now I question if either needed replacement & they just conned me more!!! How did both fillings go bad at the same time??? THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS, STAY AS FAR AWAY FRIM THEM AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!!

Surprise - they not only got me in the next day - they matched it PERFECT! Everyone was friendly and professional. I went back the next week and had a previously filled (with metal) but broken filling refilled without pain. This happened to be the day the woman said there was a note on the door (Tosh C). Everyone in the office was on the phones calling people with appointments to cancel them.

Took my son here for braces. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket cost was a lot, enough so that…read moreI decided to hold off on starting the process on my younger daughter. We kept getting told that my son had a tooth that wasn't moving and that it was delaying/prolonging the plan. The cost increased. There was even discussion of sending him to the affiliated oral surgeon to pull the tooth. As my son & I both became increasingly frustrated with how long the process was taking (the tooth hadn't moved for months), realization he would be in braces for his senior pictures, and not entirely comfortable with seeing the oral surgeon, my son recommended we get a second opinion. We took him to a local orthodontist who is from the area and only works in this area. It was nice to know if there was an emergency, no trips to Livonia were needed. They did x-rays, the orthodontist looked in his mouth and then had me look in his mouth and explained what I was seeing. The tooth that hadn't moved for months and was prolonging time in braces and costing me increased money and possibly needed oral surgery, it had nothing attached to it. No wire, no band, no metal, not even anything to the surrounding teeth to help it move. I was informed the tooth wasn't going to move with how it currently was being treated. I knew immediately that the only option was to change orthodontists. It meant starting over completely out of pocket, but it was worth it. My son had his old braces removed, new ones placed and amazingly, within one month, that tooth that wouldn't move was moving. I expressed my frustrations to Great Expressions and their apology was sending me to collections for all that extra money and time for a tooth that they claim wouldn't move & possibly needed oral surgery. But on the positive, because of the new orthodontist, my son has a beautiful smile. I call it his $10k smile.

When I arrived for the procedure I had questions about what I was having done and the staff took to gossiping at the reception area as my fiancé heard it all in the waiting room. Very unprofessional in my case.
