After taking her 3 NYS math Regents, she never took another math class and it showed. We were referred to Tunisia Solomon and after our first meeting, I knew we'd found the one! She was knowledgeable and understood just what we needed after that first meeting. She planned out a tutoring schedule that worked with my daughter's many extra curricular activities. For each session Tunisia was prompt, well prepared and professional. After just about 8 sessions we retook ACT exam and my daughters math score improved. She was accepted to (all the schools she applied to) Syracuse, Penn State, Binghamton, Temple, Towson and FIT! Bryan and George taught him how to take tests. They evaluated his weaknesses and strengths and each week we saw improvement in his ability and self-confidence. Due to Covid so many tests were cancelled. He was only able to take the ACT once but he felt prepared. He just received his results and we are beyond pleased. His composite score increased by 6 points from the diagnostic. We signed on to assist in taking college entrance exams but got so much more. My son felt his test taking in high school also improved. Otherwise Huntington learning center will call it " Absence " and ask your student to make up class and will not refund your money even you cancel weeks ahead of time ! I got a Groupon for my daughter's friend as a birthday present and one for my daughter as well back…read morein June. The Groupon states it's good for Saturdays only so I attempted to make an appointment for the girls during the summer on a Saturday. I was told the place was only open during the week during the summer to which I asked why do they sell it and advertise it as only good on Saturdays in June, but the person had no idea. Fast forward to last week, I call to schedule the Saturday class and am told they only accept Groupons on Sundays. Whatever. Yesterday, the day before the appointment, I get a call and they want to reschedule. I flat out refuse because I have plans for the day and a two hour difference would have a huge impact. We get there and the girls are painting. However, the instructor did most of it for them literally taking the brushes out of their hands and doing the painting. Then, as we're leaving, she gives me newspaper to protect my car seat and folds the newspaper over the paintings which got stuck to the wet paint and left paper residue on them. I took the girls back to my house and set them up with paint to fix the paintings and make them their own. I don't recommend this place at all. Don't offer an hour class, give the kids something that is too intricate to finish in that time and then do the painting for them.
