I am a student. I have just recently just came back from 5 days of Kent Prep to study for the…read moreenglish and math state test. May i just say, It has been a pleasure. So lets start off with my first day. I walk in. Its is extremely classy. The place is huge in the inside, in contrast with what it looks like from the outside. The place is so professional and aesthetically pleasing may i say. There are beautiful lights and many people at the front desk to assist you. There is a vending machine conveniently located near the office. When i first went in, they asked me to fill out a form. Surprisingly, they serve lunch and transportation. And the lunch is high class lunch. It is completely kosher or halal i believe. They served nice FINE PIZZA, beautiful penne pasta, macaroni, and a bunch of other nice supplements. Now the teaching. In the beginning of the class you take a mock test. This is rather pleasing because it is exactly like the NYSAT tests but much harder. After that, you meet your teachers. They are not the bad high school student teachers that just want money. They are real life teachers. I know for a fact that there is one english teacher who is from england. he has the best experience and can teach English better than my english teacher. Then math. It took a little long to review but oh well...... The extra explanations are extremely helpful. Not only that, Mr. Mike, educated us on jokes and riddles and other useful information. He is forming us into well-minded students. Overall, the time there was perfect. But kinda too long. 10-4:30. But time flies when you learn at kent.

Tutoring was fine. I asked to cancel my class and didn't show up yet, every month they would take…read morethe amount that I used to have to pay when I went. So this went on and I had to give them 3000 for no reason at all. Workers can blame me but after I don't show up for a month they didn't even THINK of calling to ask if they should cancel it? Even though I told them to cancel my classes. When i asked for the money back they refused even though I didn't take any classes, so essentially they stole from me. No emails, no calls, no warning that they took money from us every month. Teachers are worse than before, they don't teach very well.

Be very careful before going there. They have unethical business practices. Went to them for SAT…read moreprep. They lady who met with us (Audrey) never stopped talking. We went in looking for maybe 30 hours and she guilted us into more - barely letting us get a word in edgewise. When I told her let me look at a calendar she said don't worry they could adjust it. I then called a few days later and spoke to Joe, I again said that 60 hours was too many and would not fit into the schedule - but they refused to listen to me. When I asked if the excess could be used for science tutoring- they said yes. When we then went to schedule the excess hours, we were told we would only get them if we signed up for more classes. PS, there printer was conveniently broken so we never got a copy of the contract. We kept asking for it, but never received it, I've used a lot of tutoring services and this is the absolute worst. Lost almost $1,000. What a big scam.

We bought a package of classes for my daughter for private tutoring in Geometry from September 2019…read morethrough January 2020. The guy in charge Michael said the right things about corresponding with her school math teacher and carefully monitoring her grades and progress, which turned out to be complete lies. My daughter's main tutor left the center in October, who we had been very happy with. Following her departure, Mike assigned a series of random patchwork tutors to my daughter's sessions, none of whom had worked with her or had a clue. My daughter earned a geometry semester grade of F. After repeated attempts to contact Mike and requests for at least partial refunds, nothing has been done. Huntington is a giant waste of time and money. Buyer beware- do not entrust your student to this scam organization.
