Really awful. Do not use Princeton Review for your SAT/ACT prep. I took it at POB High school…read more The instructor came late to class, forgot materials and did not know the work. He was really not qualified to teach. He mispronounced vocabulary words and repeated that "you should skip a question if you are not sure". The "guarantee" is garbage. You can get your money back if you get less than 200 pts more on your test than on your initial practice. You get 200 points by just practicing at home. It is nothing. Also we were supposed to take 4 practice tests for the guarantee, but the teacher did the 4th one in class and did not submit it! So the guarantee was void! They offered me their online review, but you can get a better one free thru the POB Library website. Instead of paying $1400 for their crummy course, hire a great tutor for $100 a session and it will be better. That is what my parents had to do. Now I feel prepared. Do not use Princeton Review for the SAT!

After taking her 3 NYS math Regents, she never took another math class and it showed. We were referred to Tunisia Solomon and after our first meeting, I knew we'd found the one! She was knowledgeable and understood just what we needed after that first meeting. She planned out a tutoring schedule that worked with my daughter's many extra curricular activities. For each session Tunisia was prompt, well prepared and professional. After just about 8 sessions we retook ACT exam and my daughters math score improved. She was accepted to (all the schools she applied to) Syracuse, Penn State, Binghamton, Temple, Towson and FIT! She chose Penn State and she recently passed her math placement test so she can register for a full credit math class when she starts university. Tunisia did that!!

We reserve a time slot on a weekly basis for him to do his work at the center. The center confirms the day before. There is no excuse in the world for her to be printing my sons work and taking time out of his reserved time when he has other school obligations as soon as he leaves the center. Then of course other students walk in and she does not have their work prepared for them either!!! Poor kids come ready to work and are forced to wait in the waiting area (crammed small space) until she decides to print the work out they were assigned to do. I am highly disappointed to say the least. With the amount the center charges per hour ($145) I would expect for the service to be much MUCH better. I've been fortunate enough to prep with Advantage Testing tutors for the SAT I, SAT II, and the…read moreLSAT. They had a reputation for being the best of the best, and they delivered. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Going back to high school, I had a terrific experience working with Advantage on my college entrance exams. Even though I hated studying in school, I genuinely enjoyed working with AT's teachers. Aside from being gifted instructors, they are some of the friendliest people you'll meet, and they seem to genuinely care about their students. I remember they customized a study plan for me, focusing on the areas of the test that I needed to improve the most. Following their plan, and using the strategies I learned in class, I earned a 760 Verbal, 750 Math I, 790 Writing, and an 800 Math II, all a significant boost above my diagnostic scores (which I recall being in the low ~600 range). Years later, when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer, and began looking for the right LSAT test prep service, turning to Advantage was a no-brainer. On my first LSAT practice test, I received a diagnostic evaluation in the 55th percentile. I knew that I would need a significant (aka Elle Woods-level) jump in my LSAT score to have a decent shot at the top schools. That's when Advantage came in. Studying with Advantage tutors, you learn to break down each section of the test into a set of consistent techniques, which you hone and solidify over repeated practice tests. After months of test prep, I took the LSAT and scored a 99th percentile on the official exam. Equipped with a great LSAT score, I was admitted to my top choice for law school, a feat that had seemed impossible only a few months prior. Now, as a practicing attorney looking back on it, I am certain I would not have been nearly as well prepared with any other test prep service. In sum, I don't think there is anyone as professional or effective as Advantage when it comes to the hard work of preparing for high-stakes entrance exams. I recommend them without hesitation.
