I dropped off a pair of black jeans and clearly specified--three times--that I wanted an original hem (keeping the manufacturer's original hem intact, just shortened). I repeated it because communication was a bit challenging due to the language barrier, but he repeated "original hem" back to me, so I felt confident he understood. Two weeks later, I picked up the jeans and was disappointed to see a standard rolled/folded hem instead--no original hem at all. When I pointed this out, he showed me another pair of (blue) jeans he'd done with an original hem and explained he didn't do it on mine because they were black, had no distressing, and in his view "didn't need" it. Regardless of his reasoning, I paid for and explicitly requested an original hem multiple times--he simply didn't deliver. Whether it was a misunderstanding, disregard for the request, or unwillingness to do the work, the result is the same: my instructions were ignored. If you value attention to detail and want exactly what you ask for (especially on something specific like preserving the original hem), I'd recommend going elsewhere. Disappointing experience for a simple alteration.

I called the store when I was 90 minutes out and spoke to Nicole and told her what I needed. She looked up my profile and when I arrived she and her staff had several suits set out for me to try on. I found one I liked that fit quite well and she told me to sit tight while she went to the back and hemmed the pant cuffs. She then pressed the suit and the shirt I bought and found a coupon for the shoes I was buying. Her staff then helped me find a tie and belt on sale and within 40 minutes I was on my way with an entire funeral appropriate ensemble. Even though I love my Men's Wearhouse store in Arizona, I will stop by this store every time I am in Lexington. Nice job!

I just wanted to try the full suit on before purchasing and I had also picked a second suit back up off the clearance rack that I wanted to try on. The employee barley let me out of the dressing room to look at the options and when I ask him to give me space so me and my fiancé could look at the suit I was yelled at by another employee that he was just trying to help. She is so calm and sweet and makes magic with her sewing! I didn't love my dress at first but she was able to hem a great many layers, take it in and add extra boning to make me feel comfortable and to love my dress! Her shop is gorgeous and was so much nicer to have dress fittings in than in a dingy store in a strip mall. She has also begun making custom veils, which are stunning(!), and let me try all them on even though I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a veil. She can also do bridesmaids dresses! She went the extra mile to make sure I loved the dress, was so down to earth, and a pleasure to work with. Hopefully I won't get married again, but if I do, I will come to Jennifer!

All my friends have used her services and are THRILLED!! She has a quick turn around time too! Her prices are excellent too. She is located off of Reynolds Road behind Captain D's in a 2 story building all the way in the back parking lot. Her shop is near the end. DO NOT CONFUSE HER SHOP WITH "GTH ALTERATIONS" as you come in. I used him only once and he changed the price when I came to pick up my clothing and lied about it. I know other customers as well that mistakenly went to him and asked if it was Fashion Fit and he said it was his store to steal customers. So BEWARE of GTH Alterations!!
