Since that moment, after we watched every single one of their trailers on their website while drowning in tears, we KNEW without a doubt who we wanted to document our wedding! This was before we were even engaged! Once my husband did propose, our first call was to Nathan to check their availability. We based our date on their openings! Somehow, our favorite venue was available on the same day. We immediately booked and planned the wedding in 6 months. We were anxious to start working with Nathan, so we decided to do a "save the date" trailer to send out to our guests. WIthin a week or 2, we were shooting all around the city and having an amazing time with Nathan and his crew. The video was done in just a few days and it turned out better than our already high expectations! We put it on our website and sent it out via email. Our friends and family were sending it to others and everyone was talking about how amazing it was! It certainly gave our guests the feeling of something to look forward to! Our wedding day quickly arrived, and the anticipation for our "same day edit" was intensifying! Our guests did not know that a same day edit was taking place. After the first dance and speeches, my husband and I introduced the video. It was absolutely incredible. The entire room was in tears, and it was so amazing to see the day that had so quickly passed us by, captured in such a beautiful way. The crew was working diligently the entire day and even though it was done so quickly, it looked like something that took weeks to create! From the music, to the hollywood angles, flawless execution, and emotion in every scene, we couldn't have been more pleased with the results. His work was so beautiful that it reduced me to tears (and I didn't even personally know the bride and groom!); I knew right away that Nathan (the owner and lead videographer) was a special talent and that I wanted to work with him. The day my photos were taken I booked ahead of time with a different photographer. Unfortunately…read morethe power got knocked out the night before due to bad storms in the area. By the time the power was back up on photo day my session had already come to pass so here I am ripping and running trying to pick up the pieces and figure something out. By this time it was approx 5PM I had made several phones calls and couldn't get anyone to take us. I stumbled across this guy on google and he was very professional, understanding, and quick to respond to Justin's and my needs as to how our day went and what we were aiming to do in such short notice and at the drop of a dime. This man met us an hour later at our location, did a 2 hour unplanned session, he was very patient, had all of his things together, organized, professional, funny, very friendly, outgoing,and helpful. He made the photoshoot completely about us and what we wanted to do and had great pointers on helping us achieve the best photos we could have possibly have ever captured. Out of all the things we came into that day the moments that were spent with him definitely touched us and made us so much more appreciative of the little things and the small people that play big parts in something that was so important and close to our hearts. We can never thank him enough for what he's done for us but the least I could do as a human being is leave an heartfelt review on the services he provided us and brag on him as an individual and home quickly he came through for us. I visited their office in Northbrook and was shown to their super cool movie theater room. There Jeff explained the many options for videography and had so many video examples to show. One of the options was a cinema style video, which is basically creating a movie out of someone's bar-mitzvah. The videos were so amazing that I found myself glued to the stories of random 13 year old's special days and when Jeff turned one off after a few min I was bummed I wouldn't find out what happened to Drew! Drew's bar-mitzvah kept me as engaged as some of my favorite TV shows! They also take photo montages to the next level. Jeff showed one example of an art themed bat-mitzvah where the young artist basically walked thru one of her paintings into a gallery of all of her art. I was sold and came home brainstorming many ideas for what we can do for my daughter's montage in a few years. Xpress was the only video production company I looked at and I immediately decided they were the one.
