With a slightly higher price tag, I knew we needed to commit before other costs began to chip away at our budget and we changed our minds....and I am SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY we did. Here's why: INTRODUCTION: Anna and Artem are fully committed to giving you a final product that is reflective of your relationship, and that truly shows every step of the way. After initially reaching out for a quote, A&A asked us to met them at a cafe to get to know each other better. This alone was an amazingly thoughtful step and allowed us to feel comfortable with each other prior to our wedding day. RATES: Yes, 312 Film is more expensive than some other vendors, but we loved that their package was simple and straightforward--no upgrades and extras. If you're investing in a wedding video at all, it's worth going big and preserving your day in the best way possible. With them you get more than a camera for a couple of hours, but gifted storytellers and editors who are dedicated to showcasing your wedding in a way that's better than you even remember. WEDDING DAY: I'll never forget the moment Anna showed up (Artem was in large part with my groom--which is another HUGE perk of booking the two of them), she walked over to my stressed self and was an incredibly calming presence, crouching down while I was getting my make-up done and holding my hand to say hello in such a soothing way. I immediately knew that whatever happened, I had the most capable crew and absolutely nothing to worry about. Throughout the day, they were so thoughtful and considerate and really worked hard to collaborate with our photographer (someone they hadn't worked with before), being patient and scrappy to get the perfect shot when time wouldn't always allow. They also give the best direction, making me, someone who's awkward at best, look effortlessly beautiful on camera. I still wish I had some of their video shots as stills! Also, having a drone might sound extra, BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT. PRODUCT: First of all, not enough can be said about the next-day clip. It may seem unnecessary on paper, but when you wake up the morning after your wedding a jumble of emotions and "did that just happen?" thoughts, it's the most incredible gift to receive. I IMMEDIATELY burst into tears upon seeing it and was so excited to share. Weeks later, I had the same teary eyed reaction to our highlight video which was perfectly edited to tell such a meaningful story of our relationship and marriage. I loved every minute--and when there were three shots that I was self-conscious about, they were so easy to work with in providing an edit. As for the full length, the one added cost of working with 312Film, DO IT. I can't imagine our wedding day being whittled down to 8-minutes, and this cut is just perfect in capturing every second--including the ones we don't quite remember. All that said, I wish I could hire Anna and Artem to video our entire life. They are ABSOLUTELY amazing, worth every penny, and genuinely great people. My only regret is it took me this long to write a review!

Wow videography has come a long way! I recently met with Jeff about my daughter's bat-mitzvah for…read moreNovember 2023. Yep, crazy we have to plan so far ahead! I visited their office in Northbrook and was shown to their super cool movie theater room. There Jeff explained the many options for videography and had so many video examples to show. One of the options was a cinema style video, which is basically creating a movie out of someone's bar-mitzvah. The videos were so amazing that I found myself glued to the stories of random 13 year old's special days and when Jeff turned one off after a few min I was bummed I wouldn't find out what happened to Drew! Drew's bar-mitzvah kept me as engaged as some of my favorite TV shows! They also take photo montages to the next level. Jeff showed one example of an art themed bat-mitzvah where the young artist basically walked thru one of her paintings into a gallery of all of her art. I was sold and came home brainstorming many ideas for what we can do for my daughter's montage in a few years. Xpress was the only video production company I looked at and I immediately decided they were the one. Between our initial meeting, the Yelp reviews & glowing review from our planner I think they'd be tough to top!
