One thing that stood out, however, was a very strong scent sprayed in the hallway upon entry. My friend, who is sensitive to strong smells, felt sick afterward. It didn't linger heavily at the table, but for anyone sensitive to fragrance, this could definitely be an issue. As for the food, our Eggs Benedict initially came out overcooked, but our server Jonathan A. handled it perfectly. He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don't tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn't say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn't completely blow my mind, it's still a beautiful spot with solid service.
