There's a great photography exhibit going on right now at IFP called, PARTY: Selection, Election and the Body Politic 2008. I checked it out the day before the inauguration to get back in the political mood and boy did it work! So much in fact that I went home to take a couple of political photos of my own! Took me forever to find IFP and then found it under a Jimmy John's sign. It's small, but there's a lot packed in. I used to be a member and took a class that was helpful, but I'm not all that interested in videography. For those that are, IFP is great... lots of resources, classes, grant opportunities and it's all about the video community. Arrive early for parking. read more
