With no beds…read moreavailable in Linn county hospitals, in the midst of the Delta variant outbreak, it was my displeasure to see an employee from the local O'Reilly's (proudly sporting his branded O'Reilly's employee shirt) wander the aisles of the local Safeway without wearing a mask - despite the state-wide mandate to do so, the freely available masks, and the signage to remind everyone. Obviously everyone is tired of the pandemic, but if everyone applied the rules - guess what? - we might get through it sooner. Do you trust a person who feels they are above the rules? If this employee doesn't care enough about you to put two elastic loops around his ears for the sake of you health, do you really think he's going to go to bat for you when you have a problem with your transaction in his store? I will NEVER shop at this store again - not when there is a convenient little Advance Auto Parts just a couple of blocks away with friendly, helpful staff. Note to O'Reilly management: Consider reminding employees when they wear the uniform they represent the brand all the time - for better or worse.

I mean, it's just nuts how cheap these punk *** kids are. I appreciate it. Really, I do. The place seems like it's run by some good ol' boys not even into their 30s. I don't know much about auto repair but I've never had a problem getting stuff repaired here. I've never had to bring my car back for re-service and they've done brakes and rotors and shocks and things. Nothing overly complex, just general maintenance. And once they had to replace some brackets, said the old ones were too rusty to salvage, and they gladly showed me the old stuff they replaced ; I s'pose they weren't just ripping me off on work that didn't need to be done. The only thing that's kind of off putting is their hours. I think they open at 10 or 11 or noon. I really don't know, but they aren't there in the morning. They are probably sleeping off their 20-something hangovers like I used to when I was a punk kid. I'm too old for that these days, though. I wish I were young and cool again. *sigh* Seems legit. Super cheap. Recommended.

He then asked if I was a veteran, again, I said no. Then he asked if I was a Triple A member, which I am, so he asked to see my card and gave me a discount! Sweet! As he was ringing up my purchase, he asked another employee if he could put my wiper blade on for me, which he did happily! What service! The mechanic came out to my car to get more information, and he obviously saw what kind of car I had and he knew I was going to get the $38.00 deal which I had specified while making the appointment and several times to him. They called me a while later stating that they couldn't give me the $38 deal, so I needed to pay for the $58.00 instead! they had ample opportunities to warn me that it was going to cost me more, but they did not do that... they drained the oil and put a filter in, so I had no other choice but to pay the extra fee before I could even drive my car away. I do not recommend using walmart or at least this lebanon walmart for oil changes unless maybe if you have a very simple, basic old car. This felt like a scam to me!
