The Van Buren is a good medium-sized indoor venue for concerts (capacity near 2000). There's a…read moresmall balcony or mezzanine for VIP guests, and the rest of the floor space is general admission. There's no seating here unless you're in the VIP or part of the friends & family of the performer, so expect to stand for hours. There's quite a bit of parking available near the venue, just watch for rates as they can be highly variable. Security line moves fast but make sure you don't have anything metal on you, even if it's small. My friend had his keychain-sized pocket knife confiscated (ones that can be brought on planes). Most bands do a great job with the acoustics and production here. Most recently saw Switchfoot with Anberlin and it was great. Last year I caught Architects and We Came as Romans here and those were also great shows. I'm looking forward to more great shows here in the future!

They don't have a designated parking garage, so to eliminate any hassle, I parked where I knew it was free downtown and popped into a Waymo for the last leg. There are multiple food and drink areas available. Prices are inflated, as expected for an event venue, but nothing out of the ordinary. Keep an eye on what you bring. My friend had a standard writing pen that security wouldn't let him bring inside! Overall, I'd definitely return. Smaller, cozy venues like this are right up my alley.

Section 120 and the seats were padded and comfortable. We had all you can buffet and 4 drinks per person. The food alright but the hotdogs were too salty. No major complaints except the majority of the food was not covered and the cookies looked good but I wouldn't know because they were completely out in the open and people were touching them and putting them back. The bathrooms were nice and clean which was great. There was some dummy vaping in front of us and no one said anything to him.

Crowds everywhere and the elevator - with an attendant inside to get people to the correct level - were so slow... but with a full house it was to be expected. Lines at the refreshment bars were long-ish and more expensive than I thought: a glass of wine in a paper cup was $18. The concert itself had me smiling a lot because the show itself was lights and opera and dancers, the violinist was superb, the orchestra director fantastic as were the Italian musicians. I have adored Bocelli and his incredible voice since his "Romanza" album came out, and seeing him live was such a treat for me, so I can also admit to have a bit of a crush on him. So enthralled by Andrea and the entire concert that I forgot to note the names of everyone else ... The venue is huge, stadium big; there is a covered walkway from the parking garage across the street, where parking was chock full: too few ADA spots and we ended up on the open terrace at the top. We were planning on going around the vendor stalls in the entrance area but didn't see any open after the concert. We had been at this venue (before the name change) and parked in the VIP area, making it quicker to enter, but the walk from the garage parking was a short one. Overall it was a great evening and fantastic concert. The seats were not the comfiest, with the back straight and very little leg room to boot, hard to cross legs and change position, but the seat backs had a holder for our drinks. Come back soon, Andrea !!

He enjoyed the game when I brought him every season like he did with me at Shea stadium for my NY Mets vs the Reds. To Celebrate properly this year I scored a great four seat table at the balconies edge in the Cold Beers & Cheese Burgers Chase Field. We were dead center next to the King and Queens recliners. From our perch the game view was outstanding and our service was equally fantastic! Service 5/5++ Rating was influenced by server Julia's hustling up and down the stairs and always being cheerful. She was very attentive covering our row first row of tables. Food 5/5 Solid stadium food. The restaurants offering isn't the full menu you might enjoy at their traditional locations but they hit the favorites. Burgers cooked to order, small bites and some deserts items. Included in each ticket price was a $40 food credit which kept us in our seats watching the game. Thanks Julia for helping make our evening at the game memorable. I call Ball & Strikes There were issues which prevented our experience from being perfect. It was too hot. The HVAC was lacking. I've never experienced this in any of my seating locations before. For next season I purchased series season tickets on level one off the concourse and hope we can enjoy games with better temps during the summer. Go Diamondbacks & my original home team NY Mets! The little signing afterwards was put in a good place and stayed for a good amount of time. The show was wonderful. I've been here recently now for 2 shows that I would call nontraditional, but man, they were great shows, and I had such a blast. The layout of the theater is great. I was on the 1st level for one show and on the 2nd level for the 2nd one. Despite being on the 2nd level, it still gave a personal feel and kept us engaged. If you don't like heights, make sure to arrive early to get in the lower level, as once you're on the upper level, it does go shallow & up. Getting cocktails from the bar downstairs typically has a long line, but if you go upstairs, there's usually another make-shift bar to help offset it. I didn't take advantage of any parking, as I used a ride service to the venue, as I just wanted to get dropped off at the door. It's hit or miss with parking, especially if there is something going on at the arena (basketball, concert, baseball game, etc...) Looking forward to the next event.

The sheer variety of things for kids to explore is incredible. Between the enormous climbing structure, Noodle Forest, building activities, and imaginative play spaces, every turn brings something else to discover. There's so much for different ages and interests, which makes a huge difference when visiting with kids who are at different stages. We took my 16 year old niece and 11 year old nephew and they enjoyed it just as much as my almost 2 and 6 year old. What impressed me most was how much freedom kids have to explore and make their own fun. They can climb, build, pretend, experiment, and follow whatever catches their attention. So much thought clearly went into making this a place for kids to actually play. Give yourselves plenty of time. This is the kind of place where "just one more thing" happens repeatedly. Phoenix families are lucky to have this nearby!

I've been here a few times and this last time it seemed slightly less fun than the first time. Example, they loved the noodle forest the first time but barely wanted to do it this time. But then the big looping tube track was a big hit this time. Didn't really like the big tree this time while last time they loved it. I would say that I went more on a what you want to do. I didn't force them to participate in any crafts or anything. In doing that, I might have felt that they got a little more for the money. Do beware that room can get a bit messy with the paint. We had lunch there as well and kids enjoyed it.
