Final stop on our food tour, this was our opportunity to enjoy fika. Fika is more than just a pastry. It's a state of mine. It is a way of life. Swedes consider making time for fika every day, an opportunity to share a cup of coffee and a nibble with friends. Slow down and catch up. And at the end of the food tour when we've all become friends, this is perfect.
We had a table reserved deep in the back, where we each enjoyed a coffee (one had tea) and the traditional baked pastry here in Sweden. It's quite similar to a cinnamon roll though more tightly packed and a bit sweeter.
The restaurant has more than just pastries. There is a full food offering with wine and beer and other beverages. Traditional Swedish and more. It's very comfy and deep in the back, a nice retreat from the close tourists of the neighborhood. Enjoy!
