After about ten minutes Jorge came over and asked if I had an appointment. I said I did not, but was in need of a quick service. He went around around the shop and asked all the other barbers if they had time. They all said no, which is fine, it was a Saturday and they have their regular clients to look after. Jorge then told me that he would work through his break after he finished to get me cleaned up. Did he ever! Beard looks phenomenal, think early 2020's Tom Ford style. Thanks again to Jorge for his phenomenal service and talent with a straight razor!

You can tell he takes pride in his craft--every detail of the haircut and beard trim was carefully done. Good music playing in the background. The true test? When I got home, my wife immediately said it's the best haircut and beard trim I've had since we started dating. (High praise considering she's been my toughest critic for years!) I was so impressed that I'm bringing my son in tomorrow for a haircut as well. It's rare to find a barber with this level of skill and attention to detail--Frank has definitely earned a new regular customer. In fact, he's earned two new regulars

Needed a clean up / line up around the edges for the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend, and the…read morefirst time won't be the last time! I've seen their previous location on Mt. Diablo Boulevard, and they recently opened up shop at their new location on N. Broadway - which definitely has more 'foot' traffic, if you know what I mean & know Downtown Walnut Creek real well. I had called earlier in the day & spoke with Chris (who I learned later that he was the owner/proprietor), had set me up an appointment with Nick at a later time since I was working out in the field with some OT, and upon getting to the shop - I was welcomed by Ben (who immediately pointed out Nick) next to his station. Definitely a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere right off the bat, and I appreciate that - since you don't want that odd, unwelcome vibes that you might have experienced at other barber shops. After I had explained to Nick that I was looking for a 'clean-up cut', since I just wanted to get 'freshened up' for the holiday weekend, he immediately delivered - I appreciate that he actually listens & get the haircut that YOU want - and not just whatever style they feel like doing that day. He went above and beyond my expectations. During my appointment, I didn't felt rushed (since my appointment was towards the end of the day), and Nick really took his time, paid attention to detail, and made sure you left completely satisfied after having you look in the mirror, as well as asking you how you want your hair after he had put some clay to style. Price is also reasonable! Highly recommend ya'll check this place out; if you need a cut and/or looking for a simple and humble abode of a barber shop in the heart of Downtown Walnut Creek. Parking is a-plenty, just make sure to read the signs & pay via meters! Great atmosphere, convenient location, barbers are friendly, and appointments can be made online or via phone call! I recommend Nick if you want precision, attention to detail, and a barber who genuinely cares about his craft and skill!
