First time using the bank so I deposited a check on Saturday. Since I used the atm the check will be held and I cannot get funds until 8/07/25 and check was deposited on 7/26/25. Check is from an apartment complex for a small amount. Closing this account ASAP! read more

Went here to cash a check in the drive thru. The bank was empty and only one other car nearby in the ATM We were greeted and sent the check, after a long wait another person greeted us and said that they had a rush and would be with us shortly. We know this was not true. They hould only have professional people working the drive thru. Fortunately we only have a small account there and wont be doing any more new business with them. read more

Very good atm service with flexibility on bills available. A well managed bank unlike the big guys.

Came here to primarily use the ATM in their after hours. At least they have very new ATMs that aren't a hassle with your card like most of the ATMs are. Overall it's a newer location, fair amount of parking spaces, never too much going on here read more

My wife thinks this bank is great. I use PNC for my banking. I had to deposit 2 of my paychecks at this bank into our joint account. The checks, as always, were made out to Jack with my last name. Butt my I.D. Says John. Does anybody in the world not know that Jack is a nick name for John. So they said I need to get my checks redone if I want to deposit them at 5/3. I have been coming to this location for years I've never had any issues before, always in and out fast, great customer service and the location is very convenient for me!!!!!! UNTIL AND EVER SINCE CHANGED STAFF, NEW TELLER'S that don't know what they're doing, this place it's been nothing but trouble here... BUT MY TRUE NIGHTMARE WITH YOUR SO CALLED "GENERAL MANAGER GREG" My problem started when I walked in to this branch a friday afternoon asking one of the tellers to close my checking account and open a new one... Teller was in such rush to leave home that she didn't give me a new checking account number and apologized for her being in a rush stating she had to pick up her son from daycare.. No later than two weeks a found out my account is overdrawn " YES THE ACCOUNT SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO CLOSE" she never did!!!! I called the 800 number explained the situation, she called me right away, apologized again and said for some reason she didn't quite close the account however that she will talk to her GM "GREG" to get a overdrawn fees reimbursed and close the account, to please feel free to contact her or "GREG" directly with any questions or future concerns, which I did!!! I tried many times and left several messages for so called GM "GREG" and NEVER... NEVER got a call back from this man..... Teller Rocio who I spoke to couple of the times I called said he was on vacation... Two times on vacation within two months????? " I should submit my resume to 5/3 bank, quite good take off time benefits" Well... three months after all this mess I happen to find out my account was never closed and now I owe them around $300.00 in overdrawn fee's.... Again extremely upset I called the bank again and when explained to Rocio again my situation, she say's "Ooh Greg is on vacation again, I know and recall the last time you called him he was in vacation but he will be here this coming monday so please call him directly at his desk 815-834-4408" Monday, I called and finally was able to get ahold of this "GM" and every word that came out of this individual was excuse, after excuse which made me aware that he's being knowing about my phone calls and just ignored them... Now instead of apologizing for his incopetence as a General Manager and to follow up on messages. He looks for every excuse to blame me, the customer for his and branch employees mistakes... Now he decides to explain to me that due to many factors account would "re-open itself" NOO ASSHOLE!!! account was never closed, they never intended to close the account and now instead of taking care of the issue, you're going to blame me for it and tell me I have to pay the fee's? I have a brother that is a branch manager, so I know what I'm talking about.... When I asked him to contact Nicole, the teller who got me into this mess, he tells me well she doesn't work here... Well, I'm quite sure the brach has a contact phone number for her and he can easily get ahold of her but like but he choses to make excuses because he has been aware of all this mess and all the messages I've left for him and he liberally just ignored them.. On top of that this BASTARD literally hunged up the phone on me telling me "this conversation is over, you have to pay for the fee's, NEVER an apoology and never an effort to take responsibility for his and branch staff mistakes.. Is this the kind of manager 5/3 Bank Corporate Offices has in all his branches? I will contact: James P. Hackett /Chairman of the Board of Directors and everyone else in corporate offices but I can guarantee you GREG that you will not get away with this!
