I went to the Jewelry Studio to talk to someone about re-sizing 2 rings and plating another. It's a…read moresuper small shop so if they're busy, you may need to wait a bit. I was assisted soon after arriving. I asked for some feedback on the 2 rings needing resizing and why, as well as the plating. The associate was quite helpful and let me know the pros and cons or plating one of the rings. She also explained the resizing process. She had someone evaluate the rings and I was given estimates within the day. My rings were more beat up than expected so I'm glad they were fixed. It was a few days before they were ready but when I picked them up, they looked beautiful. Great job and it was nice that the process about what took place wa thoroughly explained.

I was just walking around the area and decided to stop by this boutique and it was a great experience. I found a water resistance beach pouch that will make a great addition for my beach bag. The lady that helped me was so lovely she even found some idditional items for me so I really appreciated her suggestions. Yet Edward, the owner, who has run this shop, with his family for nearly 40 years, readily offered to take care of the problem. (Apparently, he explaining, if a watch is sent for service from a dealer, rather than from the owner, it tends to get quicker attention). Yes, the turnaround took some time (that's Breguet for you0, but Edward bird-dogged the servicing continually, and responded to every one of my pesky, nervous check-ins. One reason I wanted to write this review is that now, with shops like Diamond Dreams having to join the crowded chaos of the online sales world, it can difficult to distinguish the hucksters from the true blues. Rest assured, Edward and his family are clearly the true blues. Give their wares a serious look. You won't regret it.

As soon as my daughter was done paying, Sabine, who, up until that point had been nice enough, suddenly changed up her attitude and began to berate my daughter, who was wearing a mask. She demanded to know why my daughter was still wearing a mask, in fact her exact words were, "You're still wearing a mask. Why?" When my daughter explained her reasons for still wearing a mask, (not that she needed to explain herself), Sabine started to say it's probably because my daughter was a foreigner, "I know foreigners like to wear masks," were Sabine's words. For the record, we are not foreigners. We may not be white, but my family and I are American citizens, my children were born and raised in the US. My daughter told Sabine clearly that she was not a foreigner, and that she was born and raised in this country, to which Sabine replied, "Well, I guess you don't have an accent." My daughter walked out of the store shocked at the ridiculously racist comments she had just be subjected to from a store she had just supported with her business. We are still in shock! In the wake of all the attacks on members of the Asian American community, I do not feel safe letting my friends and family of color go near this shop which is owned by a woman who is blatantly racist and intolerant.
