Ground beef burrito plate smothered w Green Chili (spicy)
    Deborah O.

My friend invited me to lunch at this restaurant that I usually pass by but she recommended it. She wasn't wrong. It was after the lunch rush hour so not crowded. We were greeted immediately and seated. Joseph took good care of us. The menu was extensive so I decided on the Fiesta Chalupa and my friend - a Burrito plate smothered w Green chili. Both were excellent and perfectly seasoned. I found the restaurant attractive and very clean. There is a separate bar room. The lunch specials end at 3 pm and the menu prices are fair. I'll be back for sure. ;))

I had the lunch special navajo burger with crispy fries. The green chili was good. The service was okay. The waitress with glasses took a while to come to my table. I will try the red chili and their breakfast and have a better waitress next time.

The bartender was extremely nice and the group of folks at the bar were all locals and provided excellent recommendations on what to eat, where else in Albuquerque to go while I was not at the ANMTA conference for Telecom. Highly recommend checking this place out! Great food as well!

a sign for a mexican restaurant

Seemed like the whole restaurant scene in ABQ was closed on Sunday...I ended up here mainly because they had an "open" sign in the window. I got my first taste of Carne Adobada which they put inside a sopopia. Delicious ! Nice lounge area with lots of TVs. Kinda quiet in there. Get some volume on one of those games ... kinda felt like eating in a library, not a Fiesta. But food and service were great. Thanks for a good experience.

    3. Ranchero Skillet and juevos 6. Huevos Rancheros
    Carlos O.

Middle of the road for my wife and I. The food is decent, the service is decent and the restaurant itself is decent. We ordered the juevos rancheros and the ranchero skillet. The potatoes tasted like they were cooked the day before and warmed up for our meals. Kind of a strange texture to them, not sure why. The green chili was very tasty and had the perfect kick, the red was not so good. This place is one of those restaurants we may go to again if we happen to be in the area and there is no wait for a table, otherwise we probably won't be back. I'd say try it, it's worth a shot!

Food was terrible. Nothing authentic had the posole couldn't take the first bite. The pork smelled bad Pretty sure it was spoiled. I decided to try some tacos they were worse. I should've looked at the overall star rating 3 1/2 should've told me something but I always try to give restaurants a chance. I will not ever be going back and really think this place needs some food training regarding prep/ sit times. It's obvious they have been around for very long time just not sure how they have lasted. Now that I'm reading some of the reviews it's obvious it's hit or miss on food days. Seams like it's had problems on and off with food quality.

    Fantastic burrito.

I wish I could give a better rating. I took my family here for a Saturday lunch and it was amazing. The whole experience was amazing. The staff took pride in what they did in a way I have not seen in years. They are quick to address needs like refills, but are never invasive or annoying. The food was fresh, fast and amazing. I had the smothered beef burrito and it was perfect. My wife had a delightful margarita that was not only made well, but was reasonably priced. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. Other nice things to know: Very clean, not long to wait, great value, courteous staff, delicious food, great parking, comfortable quiet environment, FANTASTIC GREEN CHILI. Special thanks to our waitress Angelic, who was charming and diligent. It was the best service we have had in Albuquerque in years.

We actually did need a password to get in. Luckily, you could go to their website and request one and get it instantly by email. The facade is a real liquor store with a good selection of local and unique brews and spirits. We were led through a walk in freezer door and down a dark narrow staircase, which was fun and felt like a true speakeasy. We got to sit in the side room by ourselves the whole time, which was fun and nice and private. It's a small space with an old speakeasy type feel with neat art, wallpaper, ceilings, and such. Most importantly, the drinks are so good! We were enthralled by the fall seasonal cocktail menu, with smoked cinnamon, pumpkin, sweet potato!!, and other delectable fall flavors. The drinks all have a wild and complex combination of flavorings, and they make all their syrups in house. So yummy and such a good experience to sit and sip. Our server came to take our orders and check on us and was very nice.

The menus are on a vinyl, to match their theme. And their drink menu is fun. What was disappointing was that 1. we had to wait 25 minutes for a bartender to show up and get our orders, then another long time to get the drinks. After the wait, a second drink was out of the question. 2. This is a vinyl lounge, and even though they had a setup for a DJ, there was no one playing but a speaker. 3. Some or our drinks did not come out with all the "frills" and effects as described on the menu, so we missed part of the experience. They have some retro club music going, but no DJ. When we left about an hour later a DJ hadn't steppe dup, but the music was pretty good all the same. We had to wait for our 1st drink for a while. It's the kind of spot that's perfect for a date night, girls' night, or just wanting to feel a little fancy for the evening. Now let's talk drinks--because WOW. Every cocktail feels like a work of art. Beautiful presentation, unique flavor combinations, and clearly crafted with serious attention to detail. You can tell they don't just make drinks here--they create experiences. I also loved that they pair the whole experience with live entertainment! One thing to know: reservations are definitely recommended since it's a smaller, more exclusive space, but honestly, that just makes it feel even more special and intentional. Overall, Teddy Roe's isn't just a bar--it's an experience. If you're looking for somewhere unique, a little mysterious, and full of personality, this place absolutely delivers. The views were nice of both the city lights and the silhouettes of the Sandia Mountains. The bar was chic. By all accounts, this place seems to be not a chain and not a franchise either, Brian G.
