According to the staff they get a delivery from Louisiana 3 times a week and I believe it. The shrimp in particular are wonderfully fresh. The Sea Gull turned out to be an adventure. Seafood served in the Egyptian style with Middle Eastern spices used. The owner is an Egyptian Immigrant living his American dream. My wife had the Fried Shrimp Dinner: 8 giant shrimp fried with Egyptian spices, Cole Slaw, Egyptian rice, Egyptian-spiced French fries done properly, and a small fresh salad. I had the Oyster Dinner: 8 excellently fried oysters utilizing Egyptian spices, red beans and rice, Egyptian rice, and a small fresh salad. The portions were large, the flavors were exotic, and the service was quick. The vibe is very casual, which is great for road-warriors who don't want to change their clothes to eat.
