SALSA WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD! Fresh tasting, with nice bright vinegar notes. Everything else tasted just so-so. Refried beans had a taste that reminded me of garbage. I couldn't eat them. Prices were high, especially for Mexican food. My daughter ordered the RIBEYE (med rare) which was best dinner at our table. It had nice fat content to make it tender and it had a very delightful flavor, almost like it was cooked in bacon grease (likely was not). I ordered the chimichunga with beef. Again, the beef was good quality strips of beef (not ground beef). My dish came with a tomato onion salsa that made the dish. Add a little to each bite! I would ask for more on the side next time. My wife ordered the chorizo taco, which was literally chorizo in a flour shell...nothing else in the taco...no onions, no culantro, not tomatos, just chorizo. This is supposed to be a Mexican specialty and they didn't do it justice. WATCH OUT FOR THEIR BILLING PRACTICES - I entered tip on first receipt, as usual. Then they brought me a final receipt with no signature required. I asked waitress and she said they just add tip without signature. I said I wanted a receipt with signature to sign. She sent me to manager which again gave me a receipt without signature. I again asked for a proper receipt to sign. He finally gave me one but it had an additional charge of over $2 such that it didnt match my receipt where i added tip. He said it was a credit card surcharge, as notified on back of register (you pay at table). I am suspicious now and will check credit card statement to be sure my card is charged properly. read more

Server was fast and on it. Sat 18 of us immediately and got our food out within an hour and it tasted great

I was starving and hadn't eaten a meal in almost 2 days. This was the closest place where our family was gathering so it had to do. We couldn't get thru the entire meal but at least my headache is gone. Friendly staff and lots of seating. read more

My wife and I ordered from Tampico last night. She had the steak fajitas and I ordered the steak street tacos. They were very good...until this morning! We both became violently ill. It affected most of our day. We are convinced Tampicos meat wasn't handled properly and made us sick. Tried to contact the owners or manager of the restaurant only to be told they weren't there. Just got food from here got all the way home 40 minutes away they forgot my 3 orders of tortillas and the cheese dip on my arroz con polo when I called them the lady said they had someone new in the kitchen and refused a refund saying I had to drive all the way back up there the day of to get new food was also very rude about that part read more

Not sure what all the 1 stars are all about but this place was amazing. One of the better and more authentic Mexican restaurants we have had in a while in several states. Their salsa isn't like most places where it's watered down and bland either. It's a little spicy and their chips are better than I think I've ever had at a Mexican place. We have only eaten at Campestro around here and it was like a step up from Taco Bell just a bigger menu. But for the money I'd choose Taco Bell. Maybe folks around here are used to that standard of Mexican food. read more

Its edible but its very bland. The meat never has any flavor. It tastes like it was just cooked in a crockpot with no spices at all.

Had dinner here about a week ago. Feels like a restaurant that someone stopped caring about. There were about 5 other tables of people there yet we received plates which were chipped - I would think they would only use those ones if all the good plates are already in use. Tabletop had a finish (like a glaze) that was busted up. Guacamole ($5.09 menu price) had no flavor - tasted like under-ripe avocados. On the positive side, the carne asada tacos ($12.09 menu price) were tasty. Side of rice had a bunch of veggies in it. They have a sign on the door in small type that they are charging more due to inflation, but they didn't update the menu so you don't really know how much you are paying per item. When you get the bill, it shows the price next to each item, but then at the very bottom, under "order total", it adds an "inflation surcharge #001" of 10% before giving you a new overall total. read more

Tucked away in the corner on Princeton WV-- very nice atmosphere. The 2 waitresses were a little overwhelmed because it was pretty busy--however the manager worked the tables in between to help keep the mouths full and smiles going. read more

We had a party of at least 14+ people for a birthday dinner. They were very accommodating! Food was really good and staff was helpful and friendly. The only complaint I had was it was so dang hot in there and this was in like October. Guess they were having issues with their AC unit. read more

It's Cinco de Mayo, so like other Americans, I had to have Mexican. I wanted to go here, but my bland friend wanted another place. Thankfully, the other place was too packed. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's definitely great once inside. There was a guy singing and playing his guitar up front (a little loud at times, but talented), and the wait was only about ten minutes. We were seated in a spacious booth (good for hefty sized individuals) with high backs that drowned out other sounds. One waitress took our drink orders (they were pushing Anheiser beers because other beers were sold out. Annoying, but I understood. Declined, but understood), and another stopped when she saw we were ready to order. The salsa was medium in my opinion, hot in Miss Bland's, but the salsa and chips were definitely delicious. I ordered the beef fajitas and a 32oz imported beer. It was all amazingly good, and plentiful. My friend ordered chicken enchiladas. She said she likes the mole sauce better, and it was cold. That was likely because my food took longer to make. All meals are around fifteen dollars (at this time), so I'm going to say it's worth the cost, and about what you pay regardless of restaurant. read more

Was going through some photos and saw this awesome photo of deliciousness. Think it was our third visit February 2020. Holy Jesus help me I want shrimp fajitas right now!!! Look at this s** t people! And I mean that with the utmost respect. I am based in Charlotte a lot and travel a lot and this place has awesome food. Awesome service. Please keep it up. The only things I would change would be lighting. The booths could use like a sconce or a little lamp on the table. Or a big ol candle. Hell yeah! That would work. I'll be back. read more

Amazing! My husband and I were in the mood for Mexican food and hadn't been here yet, so we thought we'd give it a try. He ordered a quesadilla and I ordered street tacos. Everything was amazing, from the chips and salsa, to our entrees, to our waitress. Food was plentiful and deliciously seasoned, our waitress was friendly and attentive. Absolutely rude to customers . Went there a week and a half ago bought dinner for me and the family . Person who took my order didn't understand and just put something he thought was right . Pay 30 dollars and almost half the meal we were supposed to get wasn't there. Called up the place talk to the same guy he apologized and then put a manager on was put in there books for a comp. Come in they don't know what im talking about and basically laughing . As I left the manager said have a nice day as rudely as possible . WOULD NOT RECOMMEND read more

Largest portion of fajitas ever! Loved everything about this place. After a day of skiing this was the perfect dinner before the drive home.

Very good Mexican restaurant. The service is okay, but the food makes up for it if they are a little slow. So far I've been there a few times & the food has been great each time, despite me trying something different on each occasion. So I can say that I think you will not be disappointed no matter what you try. It my new favorite restaurant in the Princeton area. read more
