I ate here last week as part of a group of 7. With Fiesta's extensive menu, there was something for everyone. I ordered the pork chile verde. It was served with yellow/Mexican rice, refried beans, your choice of corn or flour tortillas (I got corn), and a generous portion of the chile verde. While not the best chile verde I have ever had, it was still enjoyable. Around the table folks got the carne asada, pollo asado, jalapeno stroganoff, and chile verde burrito and there was very little food left on plates at the end. Several of us also had margaritas - on the rocks and blended, all good. There aren't too many places to choose from in Mountain View, but Fiesta offers a wide variety of Mexican dishes and options for every palate and every food preference and sensitivity. I had chicken tacos, wasn't expecting anything other than garden variety American-Mexican food. I've come to this restaurant well over a year now and out of all these times I I came here, not once has this place let me down in any way. First I'll start off by when we walk in, the gentleman always greets us, even if he is busy running to other tables, he acknowledges us and says hi. Once we get to a table or booth we don't wait long, at most maby three minutes until he brings the menus and readies up the drinks. The place is clean, and I mean even the dishes and silverware, and the table, none of that sticky surface feeling you get at some places. It's not a long wait til your food is served out to you, and when it's served I mean it's served. Hardly any plate is seen, they fill your plate with food! None of that pay a lot and get a nibble of food like they do at crazy ate, they pack your plate for a very decent price. And that huge amount of food you get, all of it is amazing. As I said I've been here dozens of times and not once have I had anything bad to say about the food. It's just simply amazing every time! The service is great as well. During my whole stay they keep up on my drink, pass by to check on us, and are very friendly and professional. All in all it's a restaurant to stop at. Quick lunch stop in Mountain View on the way back from Manila. Hot chips, mild and bland salsa and a cold beer were waiting for me. I had my lunch plate in under 5 minutes. Menu was a bit pricey....Cheapest lunch special was $7.99. It was a typical plate with an enchilada and a taco, accompanied by the standard rice and beans. The taco was a hard shell taco. I didn't know people still ate these. The shredded chicken in the taco was very flavorful and moist (I tasted bay leaves in the marinade) and the pork chile verde in the enchilada was decent. This small town Mexican restaurant has great salsa, great environment and their carne asada is to die for. I had to wite a second review because they have impressed me that much. If your on I80, just take to mountain view exit. It is worth it. If you don't want the full out carne asada, their carne asada burrito is extremely good as well. Accidentally ran into this place while just taking a scenic drive. Nice decor. Great service. I had chicken taquitos which were very good. My other half had flauta dinner which was more than he could eat. The salsa and chips were great also. If ever in this area again, I would stop here. read more

The group of us who went are people who love Mexican food. The thing is we love legit traditional Mexican food. This was not our cup of tea for that reason. I got the Suiza enchiladas and they were more like fajitas with sour cream on top. The rice and beans were actually the best part. It a little pricier than other Mexican spots we've gone to, might be because the sizes are generous and you can share. I don't think we will be back.. but it's not bad for the middle of no where. read more

We have gone twice to this restaurant now. Both while driving through Mountain View. The first time I had taco plate special with corn tortillas and beef inside. I really enjoyed it though the beans were slightly liquidy. The second time there I ordered the same item because I had enjoyed it the first time and it was semi-diet friendly. The second time it was spicier than it has been the previous visit and I didn't like it as much. My daughter ordered a tostada. It was quite spicy and very liquidy as well. She didn't enjoy it very much and it was impossible to take the leftovers as they were soupy. My husband enjoyed his food both times except that The items on his combo plate were a little spicier than he likes them read more

We had a great meal. We are from Southern California where Mexican restaurants abound. We were very impressed with this restaurant. I had the chicken mole and it was great. I also ordered beans de la olla rather than refried. This was a pleasant surprise as in our travels outside of Southern California, few places serve this. My husband had a "favorite" that had shrimp, carne asada and pollo asada. It was excellent. The salsa was also very tasty. My only suggestion is I thought the chips were a bit too salty.
