Fiesta Charra is our go to place for Mexican food! I especially enjoy the jalapeño toreados with tacos de carne asada!!

Not only have the prices been jacked way up more than they should be but the portion size has decreased. The chips were straight out of a bag dunked in old hot oil and the fiesta dip was straight mayo. Very disappointing from the place it used to be. read more

I've gone here many times, and it's great if you stop in, not so much for take out. I got charged an extra 10-15 for all the chips and salsa they gave me when I said a small bag of chips and salsa (they gave me two large bags and 5 cups of salsa). And the tacos/quesadilla I had were very mediocre, better off making your own at home. I'd definitely recommend stopping in person though, food seems better. read more

Very low quality food, service is extremely slow . I placed an order on the phone for pickup later , they jacked up the price in person. As embarrassing as it was, I had to ask for a menu and argue for the posted price for each item I ordered. It was an order for about 5 people, just tacos... the total was $170 when I got there. $170?? For 3 tacos per person and a drink each?? They are looking to hide items in receipts, overcharge for each item and lie about it. There is a much better fiesta charra location in East Lansing on Saginaw and park lake road. Sad to say this is our last time here. Fiesta used to be the best, fastest and cheapest food in DeWitt. The past few times the workers have been argumentative, bad listeners and unfriendly. We ordered chicken fajitas and they gave us two pizzas. Lol read more

Mexican pizza is awesome. I like just about everything on the menu. The guacamole at the DeWitt location is very smooth and tastes different from freshly made versions at their other locations. This is the only thing on the DeWitt location menu that I am not a huge fan of. The home made salsa is amazing. Fresh chips are good as well. Always great. We were there opening day and have gone back ever since. Never had a disappointing meal. Fantastic service every time. Got us hooked on Horchata. Coctale de Cameroon (spelled wrong) is off the charts. Chicken, beef, pork all are top notch. Chips and salsa and cheese sauce are great as well. read more

After talking about getting Mexican food for a good few months, the cute girl and I went here for din din, y'all! We went at peak dinner time and there was no wait, even got a booth. My burrito was the first I've dined on in a good couple years almost. Well shoot, boy I took no prisoners on the rito. I ate the whole darn thing. The cute girl ordered the chipotle fajitas and they were flawless besides a bit too spicy. Poor cutie could only eat two of the three, so guess what? This place is TITS! Good food. Complementary tortilla chips. Pleasant atmosphere. What's not to like? I especially enjoy the fajitas. Ask for extra tortillas if you follow in my footsteps! The Hot and Spicy burrito is nice too, but the serving size can't compare to the fajitas. The major deterrent to coming here is that it sometimes gets busy, and the attentiveness of the waitstaff can be stressed under heavy loads. read more

I had the fajitas and she had the wet burrito. I ordered at 2 PM and it was ready for pickup when I arrived at 2:15. Both entres were delicious and they included (for me) a salad, (for her) a cupcake (it was mother's day) plus extra sauce, dressing, tapas and a large helping of refried beans and rice. One of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to; the prices are very reasonable given the large portions, and if you are on a budget you can eat well very cheaply from the a la carte menu. I highly recommend their shredded beef. The atmosphere is very fitting for an authentic Mexican restaurant, and you will love the designs on the tables and chairs. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Waited over 30 minutes to order drinks! Save yourself and go to a different Mexican restaurant. I have officially walked out of a restaurant for the first time thanks to this place. We were seated and told our waiter would be with us shortly. Fast forward 10 minutes - no one had come to even take our drink orders and we asked a lady who was cleaning off tables if she could get our server. A couple minutes later a lady came over ask if we were doing ok. We told her we hadn't seen our server yet and we had been seated for over 15 minutes. She again said our server would be right with us. Another 10 minutes passed and still no one served our table. We tried to talk to a manager and he seemed to either not understand English or care about loosing our service. We will definitely never be going there again. read more

We frequent this restaurant as we have always found the food good. However, the last three times we have gone, the service had been terrible. We waited 15 min to see our waiter ! It was ridiculous! The menu here is huge. Almost TOO huge, making it difficult to decide. I like the nachos carbonara (beef, chicken and shrimp). The shrimp was excellent. The beef a little bit too well done, but this is a mixed-meat dish, so it wasn't a big deal. The overall flavor was delicious. Their salsa is quite mild, but spicing it up is no problem, as there are five choices of hot sauce on the table. The chips are crispy, fresh and warm. Not too salty. Service seemed attentive but one guest at our table waited the longest for the "Speedy Gonzales" meal, and had to ask twice about it. The servers are not overly friendly and are definitely not chatty. I didn't get my sour cream, but found it wasn't necessary. read more

I would give zero stars if possible, and I really regret that as I don't like to leave negative feedback in general. The first time we came to this restaurant we waited a few minutes to be seated even though there were many empty tables. After being seated the service was quite slow. The second time we tried to call ahead to make a reservation, but no one answered the phone. We can in, but despite many empty tables they asked us to wait for 30/45 minutes. The last attempt to help a local restaurant involved calling two hours ahead for a pickup order. After waiting a few minutes for a hostess we asked for our food and were told it would be a couple of minutes. After waiting they told us it would be 15-20 minutes for our phone in order. I'm sorry to say that this place is not worth visiting as it has poor service and lackluster food. read more
