In August 2018 we hired Ray and Nick to paint 3 rooms of our home including trim and built-in cabinets and bookcase along with 3 exterior metal doors. The 3 exterior doors had a faux finish which had faded. We'd originally contacted Ray because his web site said he did faux finish. When he came to do estimate he declined to do any faux finish on doors but said he could paint them a singular color. OK. We agreed to price and they went to work. Everything went fine. Nick was the most meticulous in prep and covering things up and did most of the roll-out work. The exterior doors were all painted in one day, by Ray, and looked great. In October I contacted Ray about issues with the back door getting pimple/bubbles all over and he needed to come over and look at it and remedy this issue. Ray responded that he would be over that week. Well umpteen emails later and a wide variety of excuses - we give up. He has NEVER made any attempt to honor his work and correct the door. [Suspect that it was not prepped and painted 'dirty'] All 3 doors were same mfg., same paint, same age. The other 2 doors are fine without bubbles. If you expect warranty work, please look elsewhere as Ray is not one to back up his. Sorry Ray but you done me wrong. read more

I hired Ray to paint some large areas in my house as well as fix and re-texturize some drywall. I got several estimates and his was right on target. His referrals said great things about him, so I felt good going in. Some of the work was not easy - cathedral ceilings, covering up ugly oil paint, and stripping an entire room of paint with sand in it. He and his team did a great job! There were a couple touch-ups needed, and he took care of them without a problem. 6mo later, we were still so happy that he was our go-to guy to finish up the house. WOW! I had touched up the paint in my house to sell it, but it showed up a different color. I had two days before it went on the market and everyone was booking a month out with no room to fit us in. Ray was able to come up with a proposal within a day and gave me a complete breakdown of cost. The price was great but even better was the knowledge and customer service he had. We called Ray based the ratings and scheduled an appointment for him to come and give an estimate on painting our garage doors, staining the front door and to staining our back deck. He came over and took a look. He didn't even ask questions or tell me what would be done. He just simply told me that he would email me an estimate. I sort of figured he wouldn't because of the way he was acting but I brushed it off and tried to keep an open mind. A week passed, nothing. I called and left a message on his cell phone. We hired Ray to paint several rooms in our home. He came recommended from my co-worker. Ray and his son did a fantasic job! Originally we wanted him to paint the office, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. In the process, we needed walls patched, 2 corners fixed on our staircase and decided to have him paint the trim and window ledges on the first floor.
