Buyer Beware! You never know the true integrity of a company until a problem arises. How they handle that problem speaks volumes of who they are, about the value of customers or the dollar. Though this company may have some nice employees, it lacks integrity. They say a pictures worth a thousand words so I'm going to leave it here ...... they packed it, they loaded it, I didn't even make it home with it in one piece AND they said I could buy another one! They would say they helped me with the second one I purchased but it's all lies. They never offered shipping with the first piece and when I asked for it on the second one it cost me $160 more dollars. read more

I was sad to see the poor reviews on here -- as well as no reviews in some time. My husband and I visited Fieldstone twice in the last few weeks -- once to price/look at stone, and once to buy. We were looking at options for walkpaths in our raised-bed garden. We ended up going with beautiful blue/gray slate chips. The staff was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The prices were competitive and the product was ideal for our project. I would highly recommend this place -- always love supporting our local businesses over chain stores anyway. On Monday afternoon, I went and picked out stone with my contractor. Called Tuesday morning early to order a truckload (12 ton) as we needed it right away. This was real TN fieldstone in 3 different sizes so not exotic. I asked the owner when I could get it and was told she needed to check with the quarry as the stone I looked at was sold. Never heard anything back Tuesday, called Wednesday could not reach anyone, called Thursday morning not in, and finally heard back Thursday afternoon to be told the stone was located 15 minutes earlier. I need the stone right away which I am told is not uncommon for raw material when building. Custom cabinets I understand the wait but this is stone from a field. Anyways, I was told that we could get Friday afternoon at the earliest or Tuesday afternoon at the latest which was not much of a timeframe. I called my general contractor (also my dad) who said if they can't get the stone here by Monday morning tell them to keep it and we will go somewhere else. I called back approximately 20 minutes after the Friday from Tuesday conversation, only to be told they could not get us the stone on Monday morning so she was cancelling my order. I offered a Saturday delivery as a viable option but was told that they only have one driver and would have to pay overtime so not worth it. I have a logistics background so believe it was more to deal with the DOT hours of service regulations. You would think they would have a back up driver so under the circumstances I hope their one driver stays healthy. My stone bill would have been $5000-$6000 so it would seem they would have tried to work with me instead of quickly dismissing my business. In hindsight, I wish they would have been honest with me earlier in the week and said it would take over a week to get stone so my time would not be wasted. It is now Thursday afternoon and I still have no stone, buyers take caution and do not end up in the same situation. read more
