Bought CPO 2023 GLS 450. NOTHING was inspected in this vehicle. Missing plastic cover for fusebox passenger foot well, air suspension malfunction, rear window switch plastic housing not seated and halfway out, passenger seat heated cooled seats don't work, car stinks of vomit, glitter glue on rugs and seat!! Not to mention the headlights were pointing straight down driving home had to have adjusted. Getting an ozone treatment at Melbourne MB which I have to pay for and they WILL FIX everything else. I have always came here for my 2020 gls 450 for oil changes, warranty work, and purchase of a new key fob as my previous was lost. i purchased a new key fob back in June 2024 about a few months ago I noticed time from time the key fob was dying and I was being left stranded until I could get a new battery inside and start the car again. I have left multiple messages, complained in person at my last oil change, and was told it's because I did not have a Mercedes battery inthe key fob. come to find out I've been using the correct battery when the key fob dies and I replace. this has happened multiple times since and almost every time I have texted and notified with now no response from Katie in service who usually would take great care of us. I've called the dealership with no response back from a manager. They will lie and say that even though your suspension system blew up the day you picked up the car from them it is not their fault and it's somehow your fault. What a day! It's never a bad idea to take your Father who just might be interested in purchasing a new Mercedes SUV for himself to the nearest Mercedes Dealership. This particular Mercedes Dealership is in Lakeland, FL. Like most Mercedes dealerships, it is very nice inside, clean and flashy. However, I will say I was a bit disappointed in the fact that Dad and I couldn't get acknowledgment or a Sales person for the first 35 minutes we were there. I guess I'm super spoiled by Greenway Mercedes in Houston, because you CANT walk into my Mercedes dealership here in Houston with out someone from all departments asking you if you have been helped. I digress. So back to Fields in Lakeland. I went to the parts area I think and asked this young lady if anyone was working today and could I get a salesperson. Finally a young man named Marco showed up. I told him that he's in for a good time today so let's go. Marco was a super cool and nice young man. He was very accommodating with my Dad in showing him the SUV's. Dad was very happy. I feel like this dealership may be short staffed like most of the country so I do understand the wait and then no gas in our first test drive of a Mercedes. However, greeting still needs to happen no matter what or whom. And yah, let's make sure there's gas in these cars. Finally the most fun part was a test drive for me. The infamous G Wagon!! Make sure you're wearing a jacket and tie and driving a high-end vehicle before you go to visit these guys. Otherwise they won't even give you the time of day. The weekend previous I saw Mercedes G550 and liked what I saw. Since I am looking for a vehicle before I retire this look like a good candidate. I did the research and knew that thing would probably run me $200K, but that wasn't an issue. My mistake was showing up at this dealership in a pair of jeans and old vehicle covered in mud from driving though some orange groves earlier in the day. All the sales people were busy ignoring me as I was looking at the vehicles, playing on her phone or whatever. They clearly weren't that busy but they clearly were also was not interested in talking with me. After some time one young guy did come and talk to me a little bit and gave me his card to reach out to him later. So I still don't know if this is a vehicle I want because I didn't get a chance to sit behind the wheel and I only got basic information. I did get pointed to a Grand Cherokee they had on the lot when he noticed I had a Jeep. Maybe if he saw the Jeep in the beginning he would not have engaged me either. The most disappointing car buying experience I've ever had! And I've had some crappy experiences let me tell you. Received great amount for my trade, the sales rep was on the ball as far as ordering my vehicle. I came in with my own financing and that's where they got me. I had about $10,000 in equity in my car And buy financing with another bank they have no way of making that money up. When I was getting ready to sign the paperwork, they told me I had to use Mercedes-Benz financial at a 5% higher interest rate or wait until capital one issued the check and it cleared! I have never had a dealership have a problem with Excepting payment in full for a vehicle. But this was their opportunity to make a mint off me. I came in with a 7% interest rate, they locked me in at 11%! Lied to me about current lease offers, right when I got home after I signed the paperwork a commercial came on for the exact vehicle with less of a down payment that I put and $400 a month cheaper than my monthly payment! I have bought 10 cars from various fields locations and I am absolutely disgusted. I will never buy another car from anyone of their dealerships And I hope others think twice as well. It's disgusting to treat any customer this way and lie so boldly and openly. The reason why he wanted me to keep my loan for six months so he receives the full bonus amount on the extra five points he hit me with an interest charges. I did not realize it would be difficult to refinance but banks are leery after Covid of taking on A higher loan balance. I even tried contacting the corporate office and Dan fields for help who is in all the commercials and received not a call back, nothing. I'm all about everybody making money but this is ridiculous. My payment is $300 higher than it should be! I even have a copy of my sales agreement that they made me sign and it says my payment should be 200 less than it is, explain why that is? Tim Lowery was the best experience I've had buying a car and by far best "salesperson". I say sales with quotes because he is not a hard sale. Kind of guy. Make sure you specifically ask for Tim and no I'm not getting paid for this. He knows you either like the car at the right price or you don't and he's not going to try to continue playing the sales game. In fact, most of our discussion was all done through text, and once we agreed on a price (which he was very good), it was done. When I got to the dealer, all the paperwork was ready and I was signed in and out in 15 minutes. I was buying this for my 17-year-old daughter for her first car and Tim made sure to coordinate off separately with a bow and nice and clean. I scheduled an appointment 3 months ahead for service with a Mercedes loaner, and to my surprise I was unable to get a Mercedes loaner again but was given a kia as a loaner from Enterprise and when I ask why I was not getting a Mercedes I was told by Mr. Greene first come first serve when it came to getting a Mercedes which it's unacceptable when I booked my appointment three months in advance. So do not expect to much from Mr. Greene. And because of Mr. Greene they get 2 stars. I purchased a Mercedes here and it is a beautiful car but it is a 2018. I work from home and don't drive much. it has a Garmin and does not have the capability for Apple CarPlay. Because I work from home I hadn't gone on many trips but recently I tried to use the Garmin and realized it hadn't been updated since 2018. When I contacted the dealership, they asked me for $1000 to upgrade the Garmin. I'm disappointed because I think they should have updated it before they sold the car. They sold me the car last year, so why wasn't it updated to that year? They didn't explain it to me had they I would have negotiated and force them to upgrade it for me during the sale, but given the fact that it's Mercedes and they're supposed to be on customer service I would have to they would have just had the common courtesy for a person in their 60s to do what was right and give me an upgraded Garmin. I contacted customer service as well and they said it was up to the dealership they could not help me. I have been trying to reach the manager, but he is not returning my calls. I gave them a great review when I purchased the car, but I have changed my mind based on this issue. Anyone that's buying a car from them make sure that they update everything before you buy it. The worst service of my life... and it had nothing to do with my service guy- Mr. Baxter. Mr. Baxter was great! My issue was with management. I told the service manager that after they were to repair my radio, sunroof (clean out), and my AC (weird smell). They recommended me to "fix my sway bar links (leaking)" and stated that my "transmission mount was sagging." My car wasn't having any driving issues. When I got my car back two weeks later, my car was having drivability issues. I called and told them about the issue immediately. That service guy was like, "Oh, I am sorry about the issues, we will sent someone to pick up your car and get that issue right on Tuesday." That following Tuesday, they were a no call, no show. Like nothing, so I called and asked if everything was ok and if they were still coming. The manager was like "we'd NEVER send someone out to you with a drivability issue and you can only come in and drop the car off m-f. During the pandemic, I got a new job and cannot afford time off to take my car there during the week day. I tried to find a solution by asking if I could please drop off my car on the weekend, and they said no. So, here I am still with my car that still has the issues since they worked on it with NO RESOLUTION. I do not recommend this location if you need repairs. You will leave there with more problems than you came in with. Negative 5 stars. The photo is of my radio! I can't believe the work was done so sloppy! Took my Thor Sprinter RV ,the ck motor light came on. Said it was going to estimate coast 1500 -2000 to repair. Not me, took it where I get my oil changed regularly. (Express oil change on west 70/53rd- Jeremy or jim) replace a small wire and reset the motor light- at no cost. ( unbelievable), I tipped everyone working $20. And thank them. Follow up Sarah Clemis and Rick Greene gave me incorrect pricing information several times. At the very end when I was about to give deposit to buy, they informed me that if I pickup, I have to pay FL registration fees and taxes. Was also told that if I ship via transporter instead, I don't have to pay taxes and reg fees but do have to pay for a 3rd party inspection fee plus the transport fee. I do expect to pay a transport fee but the inspection fee is required so that the car can be inspected prior to ship to protect the dealership if something happens during transport. THe inspection and protection doesn't help the buyer only the dealership but the buyer has to pay it. Further the dealership said they inspected the car prior to offering it for sale to ensure it is goo and so why is the 3rd party inspection needed as the dealership already said the car is good! I believe Sarah and Rick mistreated me and my family with both incorrect information, omitted information and the option of an unfair fee. I was trying to buy this car for my dead son, who always wanted this particular vehicle, to comfort his mother and Fields didn't care. I ended up getting an email from the CEO/owner of Fields, to add insult to injury, to go away and buy somewhere else and so this poor treatment goes all the way to the top! Amazing and disgusting! During the negotiations with Sunil "Sunny" Daswani I told him I wanted to negotiate on the price. I offered them $1800 less. He spoke to the sales manager and came back, and said good news, he's willing to take my offer. I looked at the new terms, and noticed they intentionally changed the numbers. Although the initial line was changed per my offer, all they really did was add in my trade in, and increased their price by $200. I asked for the sales manager, Mic Romero. He said "he didn't know why I offered $200 more but was happy to take it". Then tried to play dumb. He also started insulting my trade in, which I'm not sure what that had to do with anything. I will never return. During this entire time Mic Romero was very condescending and insulting. I called Ashley Darling at the corporate office three times and it took her 2 weeks to get back to me. October 27 at 8:30am AAA took my car to FIELDS MOTORCARS and at 2:04pm Mr Laurentt Garcias texted me saying that my car needs a new battery before they do anything on the car, I immediately texted back saying it is ok to replace the battery. On oct. 30 at 9:am I texted Mr. Garcia asking if there was a "diagnosis" for my car already. I texted at 12:03pm that they replaced the battery, but noticed some transmission shutterso the tech is taking a look at that in a little bit. At 4:26pm Mr. Garcias texted me: the car needs a transmission, it would be $11560.16 + tax to replace. I answered that I can not do that. and that I wanted to get the car back, and wanted to know at what time I can go. Next morning, he texted that the car was ready for pick up. I got my car at 2 pm after paying $495.32. I barely got home safe, and started looking for a reliable car mechanic. Then I went to Four Corners Auto Repair and Tech Osniel did what needed to be done to my car! Changed oil and fluid, flushed the transmission, fixed a "ground wire" which I think was the major problem. Total of $1,760. My car runs like new! Nothing wrong with the transmission. read more

had been shopping for a Mercedes dealer to buy a new 2022 S-580 for my wife for Christmas. Since October, I researched Mercedes dealers both in San Diego and Orlando since I just purchased a second home Florida. All of the San Diego dealers wanted $10,000 or more over MSRP. When I arrived in Florida later in October I reviewed all of the Mercedes dealers in the area and after reading many reviews it appeared that Fields Mercedes in Lakeland had the best ratings, so I drove to Lakeland to check them out. When I walked in the showroom I quickly connected with Don Josey and it was obvious that he was passionate and excited to talk about the features in the 2022 S-Class cars.I learned that he had sold cars most of his life and was a long term employee of Fields.I had been driving Mercedes since 1980 and I had one sales rep in San Diego for the last 50 years. I was looking to build a relationship with my Florida Mercedes dealer as well. Don explained that Fields does not markup their cars over MSRP, which won me over right away. Don advised me that they had an S-580 on order and I could customize it to my exact specifications. Don quickly helped me build the exact car with all of my desired options and said that it would be built in Germany next month and shipped to their dealership before Christmas, I am happy to say that Don kept me informed every step of this process and even gave me access to track the cargo ship that had our car as it sailed across the Atlantic. It arrived at the store last Monday and my wife and I picked it up on December 22nd - in time for Christmas just as he had promised, While I was instructed on how to operate all of the new technology features of this amazing car, the finance manager prepared all of the paperwork. When my training was complete I was able to sign all of the documents in less than ten minutes and drove away in our new S580 with a full tank of gas and did a road trip to the Gulf coast and we had a beautiful dinner at Sarasota Bay to celebrate with our new car. This was by far the best and easiest car buying experience that I have had in the last 50 years. Thanks Don for making us part of the Fields family.
