I should have taken a picture of the breading, but if you take a look at the picture that someone else posted of their chicken fried steak, you can see how thin it is. I told the waiter that the chicken fried steak was very disappointed and showed him the reason why. He said that he would let the manager know. Also order the Tender beef short ribs with a red wine bone broth demiglace. The short ribs were reheated on the griddle and not tender, like braised short ribs are supposed to be. The demiglace was very salty. I'm glad it was served on mashed potatoes to take up some salt. The green beans were stirfry and overdone because they were dried out. I won't be ordering the chicken fried steak or the short ribs in the future if I go back to Hug-Hes.

They arrived as scheduled and set up all the linens, a bar and serving areas before the event so we could place flowers, photos etc. for the event. The food was very tasty, the service was courteous and professional and our guests were very impressed. They helped make the event so great and things ran like a well oiled machine. They cleaned everything up and were out of the venue on time and even had to go boxes that we were able to use for the little food that was left over after our event. They were price competitive and great to work with. I'd have no problem recommending Good Day Catering to others.

Here is a full story: We initially chose them because their event coordinator Amanda was very responsive on all communication and the meals they presented on tasting. Amanda remained professional which we felt grateful. However, the food that we actually got served on the wedding day was not the same. The chicken was very moist, saucy, and bigger portion during the tasting, but on the day was dry and small. During the tasting, we were amazed on this pesto mash potato that they created for us, which was one of the reasons that we decided on their service, was not even served on the wedding day. They offered to refund the cost of the potato and some of the chicken to us, which was appreciated. The other part of their service that needs improvement is the bar-tending service. We had an open bar and we purchased a considerable amount of alcohol, thinking that they will last the whole night. However, when it was the time for our champagne toast, my husband and I did not even get any champagne because they were out already... From our guests, we learned that the portion of the drinks that were served was not handled professionally. Overall, I'd still recommend to at least give them a call if you are looking for a catering service because they were being responsive and responsible.

My wife and I just returned from a really fun 24 hour trip from Utah to The Grand Canyon on Utah…read moreAirways. We had met David Story, the co-founder and pilot for this new Utah-based tour company at a charity event, and after discussing our interests with him, and our desire for an all-in day trip tour of the Grand Canyon, we decided to fly to the less crowded West Rim of the majestic Grand Canyon. Flying out of a small by convenient Ogden Airport, we enjoyed an easy and comfortable 2 hour flight on the 5 passenger Piper Navajo PA-31 twin engine prop plane. The flight wasn't too bumpy especially considering the mountain ranges we flew over on the way. Exactly two hours after departure we arrived at the West Rim airport and our pilot walked us the few hundred yards to check-in for the tours, and we set off on our adventures. The West Rim is on an Indian Reservation so it's one of the few places where you can take a short helicopter ride down to the Canyon Floor. As a result we started our adventure with a short helicopter flight to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. This was breathtaking as we took in amazing views of the Colorado River and the narrow canyon walls on our 1000 foot descent. At the bottom we enjoyed a cool boat ride along the Colorado River and enjoyed the incredible solitude and awe inspiring canyon walls. After returning to the heli terminal we took the short shuttle ride to each of the three scenic spots which were less than 5 minutes apart. At each one the views were amazing, especially from the Sky Walk at Eagles Landing, where we took the short walk out onto a glass-bottomed walkway nearly 4,000 feet above the floor of the Grand Canyon. Breathtaking! We ended up with a surprise overnight stay at the Hualapai Ranch, where we enjoyed the bonus of Indian BBQ, a nice camp fire, a beautiful sunrise over the Canyon, and a really cool horseback ride along the Canyon walls. Our return flight was slightly quicker and just as easy although a little bumpier. It was an awesome trip! Thank you to our pilots, David and Bret, for making this a fun and safe experience and dealing so admirably with the minor issues.

It's always been a little on the dark side but the restaurant is clean. Anyway, the quesadilla was tasty, the BBQ meat was tender with just the right amount of BBQ sauce. There were onions and green chilies; wasn't spicy at all and I appreciated that. Also, plenty of cheese in it. It was great. I have to say I liked the texture on the chipotle tortilla, crunchy and flaky on the outside and there was flavor to it. Way better than just a plain tortilla. All in all I'd order this again. I had the garlic fries with it, delicious but too many fries
