I had 30…read moreminute meeting with him discussed I would need a tax return for Utah and Colorado- I would have capitol gains from selling two properties and depreciation recapture. Marcus said no problem would probably cost around $1,000 and he would have them filed by April 15th. Wanting an update I contacted Tanner front desk the last week of March since I hadn't heard from them and left messages 3 different times that week for Marcus to please contact me with estimate of taxes owed (I knew I would owe $40,000 plus to Irs). Marcus never contacted me. All I wanted was a text or an email or a phone call but he couldn't be bothered (no one there could even return a call). Finally less than a week before April 15th my husband called the Tanner receptionist and said we wanted our tax documents back. My husband picked them up that day and all Marcus had to say was for us to file an extension - he hadn't even touched them. Filing the extension would have prevented us from getting the state of Colorado tabor refund of $1,600, which might not sound like much but when you are going to owe over $40,000 every little bit helps. There was no apology he didn't even care. My husband and I had to quickly take our info over to another company who worked very hard to get them filed by April 15th. Whatever you do don't go to Tanner or work with Marcus. They don't care about regular people. I guess we were just small potatoes to them.

In the course of a week trying to work with HRB, I was: -shuffled to 3 different accountants on 3 different appointments because no-one had the "expertise" to manage my situation, despite repeatedly telling me that they did -told that my taxes would be ready to sign at my appointment, and that the "expert" would let me know well in advance if it wasn't. It wasn't, and she didn't -ignored by the agent when I left a message with a question, then scolded by the agent for not knowing the answer -given the wrong information by the "expert", apparently in an attempt to up the charges I could go on, but you get the picture.

I now have 6 claims Starting from May 3rd not once have I received a call from their Support team giving me an update the only response I get when I call is they have 3 business day to get back to me well it has now been 15 business days and I have spoke with 8 different customer service reps. What a joke!!!
