He…read morealso has some sort of ADHD, which makes it impossible to get him to pay attention, or get his focus on one specific thing like dinner or late night potty trips. He also has a hard time with strangers, so we were resigned to think we would never get away from the house due to his issues. Once we were forced to look into dog-sitting for an event we were required to attend, we realized finding someone to look after him was imperative. After emailing back and forth with Crissy, we set up a time for them to meet at our house, to see how they got along. Carson was his typical shakey, barking self, but Crissy's easygoing nature made his nerves settle down and he eventually took to her quite enthusiastically. Crissy has dog-sat for us on multiple occasions, on day trips and weekend overnights, and every time we returned, we came back to a happy dog, and a safe house. I feel confident leaving our lil guy in her capable hands, and will continue to do so. I highly recommend her to anyone with pets, and especially people with pets who have special needs, are old or injured, or have issues that put them out of the possibility of putting their lil friend in a kennel. Prices are reasonable, with prices by the hour, or by event, such as a one hour visit being $28, or an overnight with a mid day walk being $68. Absolutely worth it, Crissy is talented and wonderful, and will remain with our family for as long as possible.

My oldest boy was a rescue who came to us extraordinarily scared and timid. It took me a good 6 mos to get him to trust me, and now he's my little shadow. He remains timid and very shy, and I fear a shock collar would make him revert back to where he was when we got him. My younger dog is also a rescue but he's just a little guy and when I felt the "shock" of the collar even at a very low number I knew I couldn't put one on him. Enter Belinda! Positive and explains dog psyche. Gives advice on adding a new command onto a learned one. She spent some time getting to know my boys and they loved her. I just wish she were in Arizona year round, as I lost several months training time with her due to a knee surgery.

Poppy loves going to CK9 - and I get frequent social media updates as well as a Google classroom to keep track of her progress. The facility is located at Burnett's Country Garden in Salem and is setup perfectly for training. It js CLEAN and there is plenty of space. As an added benefit - the dogs are frequently brought through Burnetts during business hours to aid with socialization and skill reinforcement. There's plenty of parking as well - and they have their own entrance. There is also a potty area with cleaning supplies available. I've also had two private training sessions with Shannon - and they have been extremely helpful for me to learn appropriate and successful ways to train both new behaviors and reinforce existing behaviors. If you are in need of dog training - you will not be disappointed with CK9!!!

It's super easy to make sure Daisy is on the list for daycare on the days I need her to be there (I've done this both by email and by phone). They have great COVID precautions in place, and I feel safe dropping off and picking up Daisy (you have to call beforehand, each time). The lovely folks at My Dog's Place make sure to give the pups leashed potty breaks throughout the day, which is nice. It's also nice that they divide up the dogs by size and play style, which is something that worries me at times when we go to the dog park and/or even other puppy play dates. Even though Daisy *thinks* she's a big dog (that corgi attitude...!) she is actually a tiny little thing, so I feel better knowing she is playing with pups who are her own size. :) I feel great because she's SO excited about going to daycare, and she comes back nice and tuckered out afterwards, which makes for nice quiet evenings! Overall, this is a wonderful place for pooches, and I am so happy to have these professionals on our team. Thank you from me and Daisy!
