We had a scheduled phone meeting with the branch CFP named Vivian Liu. Unlike the other Fidelity employees who are usually polite and friendly, she was lack of empathy, pushy, disrespectful, rude, argumentative, and even bluntly cut us off several times during the conversation. She spoke with a big ego, was impatient, and didn't show any desire to offer help with our general questions at all. All she wanted was for us to open the account and move the $ over. It was definitely our worst experience with a financial professional ever! Very disappointed and very surprised that Fidelity would allow such poor customer service dimeanors. read more

The 57 Fwy South was a hassle getting to this place but it was worth it. The young lady, Callie, who helped me at the front desk was very pleasant and efficient. My mother had died last month and Callie helped me with paperwork changing the ownership of the trust. She made it painless. I was out of there in no time because Callie knew her stuff. I had come to the Fidelity Investment Center because two of the banks I do business with on the previous day could not help me with the Signature Medallion Guarantees that the paperwork required. It was frustrating since the banks are in my home town. I then went to the Fidelity Investment Center in Brea and initially dreaded it when I slowed down to 10 mph on a good portion of the 57 Fwy South. It is frustrating to get through all of the paperwork that probate requires but in this case Calllie got me in and out in short time. Too bad she isn't an investment counselor. read more

Fidelity in Brea has the worst customer service! Been with them for years & every couple of years I try to make an appointment to review my finances. They always try to avoid having to meet & rush you out as quick as possible. They make me feel unimportant. The few times I've called on the phone they leave me on hold for 35, 45 min., to over an hour. Maybe I'm to small of a customer for them. Time to start looking to take my money elsewhere with someone who acts like they want to help. read more

The people are amazing to talk to and deal with. They answered all my questions and helped me set up my accounts with no troubles at all. It is their phone system that is not good. It is all automated and when you try to say speak to a representative it says that is invalid and sends you to their main office out of state and they can not connect you back to the office you are trying to reach. I end up having to drive to the office in order to speak to someone. read more

I like to talk to people face to face to see if I can trust them. I have been dealing with Matt Chase, who I have found very personable and likeable. I feel he is"on my side" when it comes to making moves in my best interests. The people who work the front always has a don't bother me attitude and srems to always lack knowledge about investments. I wanted to go on record that one of Fidelity's representatives who specializes in their 403b program for educators was both informative and extremely professional in helping us with information about our 403B. Her name is Cassi Kremer and she met with us at San Diego State University and she was not only able to answer all of the questions that my wife and I had for her but also steer us to additional guidance with our non-403B investments. She was patient and clear about all of our inquiries and was a pleasure to work with. Our only disappointment was not with her but Fidelity's lack of availability of counselors like Ms. Kremer since the few scheduled counseling appointments regarding the Fidelity 403B program were far away from my work and residence in North Orange County forcing us to drive three hours each way for our appointment. read more

As a long-time customer since 1982 Fidelity has been a leading broker and never makes the news for shady deals or corruption. Their website for accounts is one of the best in the business. read more

I made an appointment with Cornel Catrina at the Fidelity in Brea on two occasions in the past two weeks and was treated professionally and respectably. Cornel guided me through setting up 2 new accounts for my grandchildren as graduation gifts. Cornel made me feel comfortable with gift transfers and purchasing of mutual funds and he also helped me with RMD's. I would highly recommend Cornel. It is hard to think of the last time where I was trying to give someone my money for deposit where they (a) has me wait with no discernible line and (b) couldn't tell me how long the wait was.
