I've gone to The Art Department for the past 6 years and will always be a repeat customer. My clients are always pleased with the end product - the workmanship, quality and uniqueness of frames speak for themselves. Points: -Terry and John are hilarious. You can really tell they enjoy what they do. -No matter the budget or timeline they always seem to make it work. -I never worry about inventory being low as they are constantly getting new product in. -Bonus! They feature local artist in the gallery! You can purchase directly off the wall or if you need a piece altered whether color or size you can have it commissioned! If you haven't been you really must stop into this gem.

Having spent a lot of time looking in galleries feel that the art is really reasonable and like the framing options.

I was thoroughly impressed with the accommodating service and positive attitude of the staff - I did not feel pressured to make the purchase, but in the end, made the purchase. It was delivered in a very safe and study crate, at a scheduled date and time. More recently, I visited the gallery when I was passing through Phoenix. It was great to see more pieces in person. The associate I worked with gave great customer service and was helpful in looking at the different frames for a custom mirror that I was/am considering to purchase. As every individual has a particular taste in art - it's challenging to say that I would recommend you to make your purchases here. I can say the service I received was way above par and do plan to shop here in the future. So, I would recommend you to at least check out their website (they have most of their collection online) - if you like what you see, perhaps see it person or make the purchase. At the very least, enjoy their great customer service.

The customer service lady was very helpful in picking out a suitable frame and talked me through framing options without being pushy about upselling (I ended up foregoing the higher-priced options, at her recommendation). She treated the framing selection process with care like she was going to be putting the map in her own home. She was also very patient in answering all my questions, as this was my first-ever custom framing experience. During the framing process, the world map poster that I wanted framed incidentally got damaged. The store owner personally called me to apologize and offer to order a replacement. The owner said damages like that basically NEVER happen - and honestly the poster was already in less than perfect condition due to shipping from a foreign country so it probably wasn't even their fault. Well, turned out the replacement they received wasn't the same as the original, so they notified me and re-ordered the correct replacement again at their own expense. While it made for a bit of a delay, I appreciated their honesty about what happened and willingness to make the situation right. Their customers are obviously their priority. Only a few days later after the correct replacement came in, I got to pick up my custom framed world map. It was so stunning and so the woman who helped me pick the frame clearly knew what she was doing. With 50% off of a framing in addition to the $50 off $100 deal, I walked away a happy framing customer with a beautiful world map that I hope to keep for years and years.
