We really loved this climbing gym/bike park as a family, but ultimately the price had us cancelling our membership. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Facilities are amazing! We especially loved the bike park portion for our kid. At $160 a month for a family of 3 (since our 4th was free because she's under 4), we just couldn't afford it anymore. We asked if we could do a bike only membership, and they said they no longer offer them. I was also interested in the different groups they hosted (examples: homeschool groups, etc), but the group membership if I remember correctly was $160 per person just to be apart of groups. I really do wish they had something more all-inclusive at a better price, as well as just better prices all around. We were only able to go about once a week which just didn't make the high price tag worth it. We've been to similar climbing gyms for $100 a month for a family, so this was just too steep for our budget. I've heard from several other local families that have had the same experience. Hoping they make things more cost effective for future families to join! read more

I try climbing gyms wherever I go and this one was very notable! I loved that there was a bar inside with tons of local beers and ciders! The routes could have been improved - it felt like there was no flow or meaning to them but still fun! It wasn't too crowded or loud which was very nice! read more

This place is DOPE! Great way to waste a day off for all ages! From the pump track/biking tracks to the climbing wall everyone was happy! Having a bar/taps there is a nice touch too. Really awesome space and their merch is high quality stuff! We had such a blast here! read more

I can't even tell you how excited I am to be the first one to write this review. I have been a member here for about 6 months and I love this place. Side note- according to Yelp- this place is woman owned?! Stop it. That's amazing. I kind of feel like there should be a few separate review categories for this place as my friends and I fondly refer to it as an "outdoor sport theme park". There is the mountain bike area, the yoga studio and the rock gym. As Im a member of the yoga and rock gym I'll use write about what I know. Oh and they also are working on their community aspect to make it kind of a community center so that's almost a separate piece too. Really dig that idea especially in this time and age. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. They always greet you upon entering the facility. Check in is a breeze if you're a member. Remember to fill out a wavier before hand if you're new (there are also iPad kiosks if you want to wait until you arrive). There are also plenty of staff so you're never searching for someone- they check in often and are always willing to help. They genuinely seem like they love their job. The rock gym fluctuates in terms of busyness- I like to go when there are less people (especially during the pandemic) but you can always find a spot to climb even during high traffic hours. They have extra hours for members which is awesome (ex- you can climb before it's open to the public). I will note that as it is open air, many people are mask-less. I do wish they would at least check vax cards. If you are a new climber, worry not. They have a ton of classes and equipment. They also do free top rope and lead climbing check offs for those who are experienced. They have a good amount of diverse top ropes, leads and Boulder routes. They also provide a few auto belays. They are rated pretty well and changed frequently enough to get a new challenge but have time to perfect strategy. Ok now for yoga! I just joined that last month as they were having a great add in special (if you want to join something and have the liberty of waiting, they do a lot of specials). The sign up is a breeze and the classes are great. It's a lot of hot yoga which I live. The instructors are professionals and very passionate. The space is wonderful and classes are small (and masked). I once lost my keys and was late and they didn't even shame me! (I hate being late) Im addition to all of this, the community piece is the real foundation and I can see they are trying to improve it every day. They have nights for LGBT+, BIPOC and those with disabilities. They also have film nights and appreciation days. Even things like 5ks and parties are on the calendar! They also have workshops and classes. Wow! One suggestion- can there be a night to meet some belay partners? ;) Thanks for all you do riveter! Glad to be a part of it! read more

Such a great place for so many reasons. Amazing biking- my 11yo loves to go with his friends and ride. Climbing is cool too with an option for yoga and a small gym facility with workout equipment. They also have a shopping area for cool gear and a bar with amazing draft beer, na options and snacks! We go at least 3x a week!!!! read more

I actually love climbing and this climbing gym just makes me dread going unless I'm going with friends. The only problem is is it's sadly the best option you're gonna get in Asheville. Which is why the prices are so bad for something considered subpar in other areas. There's the occasional fun route, but most are just demanding of strength which isn't a bad thing, but there's not a lot of let loose climbs or unique climbs. also, depending on the people that you run into might affect your visit. Their the employees seem to show biases towards people that visually look like they can relate to whereas if you're not dressed like a granola girl, the service they give you probably won't be as great. The atmosphere is kind of judgy, and I was surprised that because of their climbing gym rules that they have on display (one of them being leave your ego at the door) when you enter the climbing gym. otherwise most of the people that climb there are pretty chill and it's actually a really good environment probably because everyone's suffering from generic routes. I feel like this climbing gym was built off of a very solid idea that there would be lots to do like biking, climbing, yoga, and there's even a bar so it should be everything you could dream of, but it was just executed poorly not only that it cost a fortune if you want to do all of those activities. So you're probably gonna only have to pick one and then use your guest passes to do the other because who especially younger kids who don't have that financial support of their parents to pay for a $100-$250 membership, which is ridiculous! I've never been to a climbing gym that has been so pricey for something so mediocre. Most gyms will have a package deal on all of the activities you can do there but here you have to pay for any activity you want to do that is separate from just your basic climbing or mountain biking membership. read more

Amazing cup of coffee during my bike ride today. I came inside after a humbling warm-up on the jump track made me feel utterly exhausted. My friend and I were in desperate need of one thing, and one thing only: a hot cup of joe to comfort, energize, and propel our dad-bods to the next dimension. A very nice front desk staff member came to our aid and brewed an entire new pot. The situation seemed hopeless for a moment, when there appeared to be technical difficulties with the filter paper or something. But she ultimately prevailed, and we were offered a variety of different creamers to try. I went with almond-sweet creme, my friend chose original dairy creamer. The rest of our session was glorious. We jumped higher (almost getting the back wheel into the air) and laughed more freely (especially after falling). We didn't even have to stop at the gas station on the way home for a power nap. read more
