I'm sad to say that I've had a perfect experience with 148Print, but someone I recommended would…read moregive a 1-star review. There's nothing more heartbreaking than raving about a business then having them let down a referral. The owner of 148Print prefers communication over phone call rather than email, which is fine. I had no issues placing my requests online and having follow-up done offline, but my referral didn't even hear back. While my print was to standard, he didn't even receive what was requested. No notification of production or follow-up. Pretty sure I should be more invested since it was for our wedding, but I'd like to hear the other side of the story.

It really pains me to write this review because I loved working with them before, but this time…read morearound I've been trying to get a simple quote for more than a few months. There is no website which is fine, and I've been doing the responsible thing of calling back to see what the issues and hold up are and have been patient, but I still haven't gotten what I needed. At first there was issue with their servers withholding certain emails, which is understandable, but it took me calling more than 5 times to learn this. Then when Ric promises to call me back after a meeting or more important customers (more than once) to ensure that my quote is received, he never calls back even if I call... Even if it wasn't his intention it made me feel like my project compared to other customers isn't important. I wanted to be ahead because it's not for me, but my non profit organization and I kind of ruined their timeline because I so stubbornly wanted to work with this place. I really wanted to support a local business especially since they did an amazing time last time, so I kept trying to work with him. Instead I think I placed too many eggs in one basket...

Super nice and high quality. It was my first time actually ordering prints (a business hour sign…read moreand "No Food/Drink") and Daniel was very kind and patient throughout the process. The colors came out well, the lamination clean. The prices were also reasonable since I considered Walgreens and such first which were roughly the same price/more, but they didn't laminate and I'd have to cut one of them down to size myself. Thank you so much! Will definitely ask for your help again.

I had a very time intense job that required photo printing on 2'x3' easel sized foam backing. This…read morejob entailed getting the highest quality photos from both Android and iPhone for superior printing. It worked and I and the project team were quite pleased. On the second related job, I needed a photo produced on super high glossy paper for the awards which were given to the honorees of our Rotary Club of San Francisco. Once again I was not let down. The key here is that they understood the job requirements and specifications and even helped make the "right" recommendations (photo quality, sizing) to ensure a job was well done. We've used this company on / off for label printing and letters but this was truly a great job that required more skills to complete.

On top of that, their service is great, they are fast and very good price. I will always support a local business like theirs over any other chain. I will definitely be coming back.

I decided to give this shop a chance in spite of the lower reviews since I know that ratings on…read morehere tend to veer towards the extremes. Glad I did, because I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had a last-minute commission that I needed to get printed, and this shop got it done with an incredibly quick turnaround. I sent in my request around noon, calling immediately after to request same-day service, and got the email that the order was completed about 20 minutes after I confirmed the final printing details. The total came out to just short of $16 (due to the rush fee) for five 5 x 7-inch prints, which works great for me. For technical folks like myself: the prints were done on 11 x 8.5-inch card stock with indicators for where I needed to cut (I opted to do it myself to avoid the service fee) and were handed to me in a plastic sleeve. They came out perfect, nothing to complain about. Customer service was great too. I presume I was chatting with Anna, who helped me fetch my prints as soon as I told her my order specifications. She was very kind and payment was quick and painless; the cost was exactly as quoted plus tax (which they warn you about in the emailing stage). Even when I called a couple days ahead to ask about their print details (ie. confirming that they use CMYK, PDF, and ~300 dpi for artwork), the individual on the phone was very direct and easy to speak with, handling all of my questions with ease. I would be happy to come back with any personal projects or future rush orders. Highly recommend!

The draft they sent back looked perfect, so I gave the go-ahead. However, when I received the actual product, the color was blatantly orange, not red. Upon contacting them to rectify the issue, I was met with rudeness and a refusal to acknowledge the mistake. I was told that it's just how vinyl printing works, which was neither helpful nor satisfactory. Very disappointing service, especially considering the high reviews they had. Their prices were average, but now I completely wasted over $500, which is a lot of money when you're running a small business. Also beware, I went to their physical office in SSF as listen on Yelp, and it is another company (window tinting). Seems a little shady to me.
