The fall decorations and photo spots are beautiful! There are pumpkins everywhere, so many cute photo opportunities, and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained for hours. It's the kind of place where you can easily spend an entire day with your family.
The petting zoo was one of our favorite parts. The kids got to pet and feed rabbits, see llamas, and even meet a capybara! We also enjoyed pony and horseback rides, plus a super cute barrel train made from barrels decorated like little cows that takes you through a cornfield. The kids absolutely loved it!
There is so much more to do here, including tubing, a zipline, a playground, swings, little tractors to ride, and even an area where kids can draw and make crafts. There really is something for everyone.
And the food deserves its own mention! We were pleasantly surprised by the café. The food is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced, with organic options available.
We ordered the organic gluten-free, grass-fed chicken tenders, which came with a side salad, fresh berries, and a bag of chips. Everything was delicious!
The strawberry matcha was another highlight. It wasn't overly sweet, and the strawberry layer at the bottom tasted like homemade strawberry preserves the kind your grandma would make from freshly picked strawberries and save in jars for the winter. Not that overly sweet syrup or artificial-tasting jam you sometimes get. It was absolutely delicious!
We also tried a hot dog and two milkshakes, chocolate and vanilla. They were creamy, delicious, and made with farm-fresh milk without being excessively sweet. We were genuinely impressed!
They also offer acai bowls, and the farm is known for its organic eggs. One of the coolest seasonal experiences is their Easter egg hunt, where children can collect eggs directly from the chicken coop and place them in their own baskets. They also sell eggs in a refrigerator at the farm, although unfortunately, they had sold out by the time we visited this time.
Pricing and value: Our admission and activities came to approximately $86 on a weekend for one adult and two children. This included two pony ride tickets, two train ride tickets, and two animal-feeding tickets. The café, capybara experience, and other extras were paid for separately. With so many activities available, I think there is plenty to enjoy here.
The only downside for us was the heat! Florida fall weather can still feel like summer, especially when you're spending hours outdoors. I think visiting during the cooler winter months would be absolutely perfect.
We drove about an hour and a half from Parkland, and honestly, it was worth it. Between the fall atmosphere, adorable animals, fun activities, and surprisingly great food, Tinez Farms is a place we keep coming back to.
Highly recommend for families, especially during pumpkin season! Bring your camera, wear comfortable clothes, and plan to stay for a while there's so much to explore!
