We were planning to sell a rental property that had some delamination in the bottom of one of the bathtubs. We were concerned it would come up on inspection, so we sought out a vendor to proactively repair it. Fiberglaze refinished the bottom of the tub and the color match was a dead ringer for the almond color of the 1988 bathtub. I had received a quote from a competitor for 4x the cost and I was tickled to get such a bargain and I saved a ton on labor and materials by not replacing the bathtub.
My only complaint is that the repairman's vehicle leaked fresh motor oil onto the concrete driveway. Luckily I saw it immediately after he drove away and was able to clean most of it off the driveway before it dried in. I did text the repairman to let him know, so hopefully he's had his vehicle serviced. read more
