We used to get takeaway from these guys all the time. Their food is quite good. It doesn't blow me away, but it's good. No zesty twists on dishes to make them stand out from the myriad of other indian restaurants; though my friend had a spicy dish that he claims was his new favourite dish. I tried it and it was just 'good'. Bit of a recurring theme here.
The rice portions are quite small, so one each would be necessary. Other than that the portion sizes are good and they're generous with the meat. Chicken is cooked well, nice and succulent.
My qualms with this place are mainly the waiters and their miserable facial expressions. The only guy smiling was a chap whom I assumed was the manager, who was quite nice and conversational briefly at the end of our meal. Normally when you enter an establishment you're greeted with a smile - here our server's face looked like he was about to lock the door for the night and we'd forced them to stay open longer. It was 8.30 and we'd booked a table, in case anyone thinks that is the case! We were then ushered to a table with the most depressed looking flowers, which at least was continuous throughout the restaurant...
Wouldn't eat in here again, rather order a take away, and if you're doing that there are better ones. read more
