Each time, Michele consistently arrived in the early evenings so they could all stay on schedule. She followed our rather detailed "system" for feeding them, checking their water, and cleaning the litter pans for the indoor ones. She managed to get pictures of even the most shy, elusive ones (both indoor and out) and routinely provided updates to assure us that all was well. She brought in the mail and cultivated a warm and caring relationship with both our cats and us. We felt perfectly comfortable with leaving our pets in her capable hands while away. We have also found her to be available and willing even when we've had to contact her on short notice. She is a treasure, and we're glad we found her!

I swear my dog held his pee until we picked him up and walked him to the grass. This place has lots of room to run around and make them tired! They've got separate indoor areas for doggies that either need a break, a nap or just wants to sit up front with the staff. Staff - The staff is amazing!! They do get to know your dog because they are all animal lovers and they know their behaviors! It's so nice when we walk in and they're already greeting Chewy by name. He loves walking in here, he knows as soon as we turn into the parking lot and just pulls us right inside! It seems they always have fun working there and there's always a celebration, like a doggy birthday or pajama theme day or something. Fun staff for sure! Pricing - very affordable! They do half days and full days. The boarding at night is well priced as well.. and we know our Chewy will be able to run around and play during the day. Grooming - they do grooming, baths and nail trimming too! Cons Only thing i was concerned about in the beginning was not any staff present at night time when you board your dog overnight... but the staff reassured us there are alarms and systems in place where staff would be readily available if needed. I even paid extra to have his teeth brushed because I expected a higher-quality service. When I picked him up, it honestly seemed like he hadn't been properly bathed at all. He still smelled very bad, almost as if he had only received a dry bath. What upset me the most was the haircut. They completely ruined the shape of his face, and the hair on his forehead looked like it had been cut with zigzag scissors. He was left looking choppy, uneven, and poorly groomed. A few hours later, we called to explain the situation, hoping they would be willing to make it right. Instead of apologizing or showing any concern, the manager was extremely unprofessional. He told us that since it was only our third visit, "that's what we paid for." He also said that if we wanted our dog to smell better, we would have had to pay an additional $30. The way they handled our complaint was even more disappointing than the grooming itself. We weren't looking for an argument--we simply expected them to listen to our concerns and offer a reasonable solution. It's very disappointing to pay for a service and receive such poor results, followed by such disrespectful customer service. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place.

(He's 40lbds.)But her foul attitude made me cancel. This past week we planned a summer vacation, and unfortunately none of my trusted Rover sitters were available. So I decided to try Halo again. Even when they're naughty and get into the trash or have a little accident, everything is in order when I get home and my dogs are happy and loved. **Need to add an update because of one visit in particular. It has taken me a while to be able to write this. Over the Summer, I had the amazing folks from Paws First watching my dogs while I was away for the weekend out of state. My senior dog's health had been in decline for a while, but it didn't seem to be cause for too much concern- just typical old dog stuff. One night, her health took a very sudden and dramatic turn. It was clear that if she were brought in to the the vet that she would not be returning. I didn't want my old girl's last moments to be spent someplace unfamiliar. The staff at Paws First went above and beyond to provide extra care and comfort to her when she needed it most so I could race home to be with her. I am forever grateful for all they did for her.
