When I was new to the neighborhood, I was thrilled that there was a Festival Foods near me. I raised my kids near to the Festival Foods of White Bear Lake. I knew I would get fresh produce and beautiful flowers. One time I couldn't find salt, the guys in the meat department told me where to find the salt. The store is always very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. I do think some items are priced high but it's more convenient for me. The cart situation drives me a bit bonkers, never knowing where to bring the empty cart and don't exit the right door? Seems odd.. Overall, a nice store. read more

I use to love the meat department until Ray stepped down as the manager. The new manager seams to be getting a lower quality of meat products in. It doesn't seem as clean as it was before. I will only get essentials there but no meat. read more

All the years I've gone here its always had friendly staff and a clean facility. Just recently I had an issue with one of my purchases and went the following day to try and figure it out if possibly. There was a customer bagging up and it seemed I was accidentally charged for their groceries instead of my 1 item I was purchasing. Long story short they helped me out and everything was resolved within an hour and through it all everyone was very nice and helpful. read more

I disagree with Grace, their Hugo meat department is great, and clean. The Work staff is excellent, and friendly.

Their produce is gross, I bought raspberries and when I opened them I found a green worm coming out of them...... worms in my raspberries... no thank you. read more

Went yesterday. Purchased ham lunch meat....expired on 4/20/20. Noticed the rancid taste today.

First time at this Festival Foods location. But second store all together. What a beautiful store! Love the bakery area. They have a signature item called a almond Kringle. They are delicious! Excellent customer service at the store. They also have very good fried chicken in the deli. You should stop in to Festival Foods and try it. read more

Excellent high quality grocery store with afforable pricing. This store utilizes digital pricing tags on their meats, has a wide selection of fresh cheeses, olives and breads and it very clean and spacious. Also, there is a liquor store attached for the convenience of getting all your dining needs. Add on great sales throughout the store, this was a very positive shopping experience. Great store. I find everything I need there. Especially the local sauce called Kef's 123 Gourmet sauce. That stuff is awesome!!!!

Festival Foods has become our family's main grocery store. Here's why: I've shopped at Kowalski's in the past; our budget no longer allows it. Call me a snob, but I also can't stand shopping at Cub, Walmart or Rainbow due to poor quality (especially meat and produce) and poor customer service (not to mention oblivious-to-others or just-plain-rude shoppers). Then I found Festival. While they may not carry the same variety of organics or gourmet items as Kowalski's, they come awfully close. The prices are much more reasonable than Kowalski's, and the items are just as fresh (or fresher!). The staff is ALWAYS pleasant, going out of their way to say 'hello', talk to our kids, or ask if I need help finding something. The deli/bakery/butcher shop is staffed with people who take pride in what they do. Their ad is located right at the entrance and actually displays coupons and sale items that my family can use, rather than junk food and soda pop. Help is always available to bag items at checkout, and staff thanks you on your way out the door. I've talked with the store manager (tall guy with a mustache-can't remember his name), and let him know that the quality and value at Festival is just what my family needs. I used to love the store and shopping for foods from the deli. But, it appears to be infested with flies. While waiting for them to fix me some food, I saw so many flies buzzing around, it made me sick. I even saw a couple land on some salads being made behind the counter. Disgusting. Do something about your fly problem. Will never order anything from the deli again. read more

I LOVE this grocery store. I meet people very often at the Dunn Brothers Coffee attached and it is always a very pleasant experience. The coffee shop is quiet and nicely lit. There are never too many people in there and its just a great place to come and relax and talk with someone. The store always has fresh food options, the deli is great and they always have samples. I always give rave reviews about this grocery store whenever I know someone is in the area. Very clean and friendly staff! read more

I Love this Grocery Store! It is always so CLEAN and the Help is Great. People are so Friendly and always willing to help you find something.The weekly ad always features great coupons and in store deals. There is always a steddy flow of customers but you never have to wait in long lines because they have enough help to get you through the check-out quickly. The produce is fresh,meat market and Deli are Fantastic and the Bakery is set up beautifully.Thanks!! It is nice to go to a store with that Small Town Feel in this day and age. read more

Nice grocery store that isn't super busy all the time so it is easy to get in and get out quickly. I like the flow of the store and it is nice because the aisles are a little bit bigger than your cub or rainbow. Another nice feature is the self check out lanes - there are about 3 or 4 I think - or go with the tried and true lines with a checkout person. Staff are always standing by to bag your groceries for you. Also has a Dunn brothers attached and a liquor store that you can access on your way out the door. One added convenience is the Redbox rentals located at the front of the store by the registers. Note: If you decide to use it make sure you give yourself PLENTY of time to return your show before the deadline as many times you go in there and find that people are putzy looking for a movie and the line can get pretty long.
