Absolutely the best grocery store in town. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely well managed.

I live in Colorado. I'm visiting friends in Eleva, WI. I wanted to buy fresh flowers and went to the Festival foods on Mall Drive, Eau Claire WI. I was Very disappointed in the quality of the flowers and the display. Many of the flowers were broken or wilted. Some of the bouquets were stuffed so tight into the bins it was impossible to view them. If you are looking for fresh flowers, I'd pass on Festival. I understand that flowers are a secondary product, but it's clear the employees are not trained to make the most of them. read more

I shop at Festival almost exclusively. Today I was told I couldn't use a coupon because I don't have the app. I'm almost 80 and really don't do apps. Poor customer service. Usually good service, but today not so much. read more

Eau Claire, Wi. When you are from out of town and shopping for supplies for the music festival weekend, this place is not too bad. It seems they have everything you may need. My wife Stephanie likes the natural and organic foods section. They had her brand of Greek yogurt and an assortment of kombuchas. The aisles are well marked so it was pretty easy to find stuff. It's a pretty large store and well lit. Also very clean. Steph's only complaint was that they do not offer any organic produce. I always think grocery prices are too high, but these seemed in line with, if not lower, than where we shop in California. Checkout was organized and fast. read more

The most useful grocery store in Eau Claire Useful? Well, sure. Babysitting available in store (and they show the whats happening on tv's in the store so if you have to peek in, you can peek in First Federal in the building (plus a 24 hour cash machine), and they are open Sundays USPS station, for mailing packages Redbox Coin Counting Machine It is really a very handy grocery. Grocery wise, it's pretty good. Good natural foods selection - perhaps the best (including woodmans) Good Liqueur Dept (Not Woodmans or Gordy's good, but its ok. Good produce Good meat department (not Rumps or Sokups good, but very good for a grocery) Plenty of items you want or need Decent pricing, but not as cheap as Gordy's and certainly not as cheap as Woodmans. But still pretty good. They do a good job stocking the shelves and pulling past sell date items (unlike Woodmans which I am convinced just does not care) Only real negative is no pump perks, at least not yet. Perhaps they will enter some arrangement with...someone..... As a grocery alone - four stars. But it is so darn handy....Five stars read more

They're open 24 hours. Festival has a great liquor department. Arguably the best grocery store butcher shop in town, lots of choices and the butchers are helpful with cooking recommendations. The produce section is large and has lots of fresh offerings. They probably have the largest natural food selection of any grocery store in town as well. And in the bakery you can buy individual hot dog and hamburger buns which is nice for small families Good selection decent prices we love Festy! read more

I can not tell you how truly wonderful this store and its staff have been to me and my family. It may seem like a simple thing to offer good service and products but it's not. It's work! And the magic of any business to make it look easy and to bring it down to the level of the individual and it's been my experience consistently at the Mall Drive location. Today is my birthday and we ordered a small round cake from the bakery .....and yes...it was silly but I wanted the cake to have my kittens on it, we have three. We called and the young lady who took the order was so awesome..she didn't blink ...and today I got the cake. It's beautiful. Thank you! I know! A cake! With cats! But isn't that what changing people's lives is all about? Isn't that the thing that makes a store part of a greater community!? I compliment the cake decorator and would love to thank that person directly. I commend the managers and team for having them passion and compassion . Festival is my go to store! We came from out of town. We were hoping to find some fresh fried chicken like Cub Foods in Minneapolis. Although it was 7pm, the chicken looks like it have been out too long and dried out. We passed on the chicken. Nevertheless, we were amaze how beautiful and clean the grocery store is. The produce is huge and extremely well lighted. Everything looks so bright and beautiful. Festival Foods is a great place to shop when you need a quick something for dinner or for your weekly shopping trip. Store is very clean, employees are friendly, great meat and deli departments (BEST in Eau Claire that I have seen!), and no "club" to join to get weekly specials. It also has a salad bar, hot food bar, chicken wing bar, and sushi. There's coffee and bakery items to eat in the store. And the coolest thing, which I have NOT tried yet, is the "Tot Spot"-an in-store childcare/playroom for kids so parents can shop undistracted. This store is always busy and is easy to get in and out of. This store also features a United States Postal Service sub-station and a good sized wine/liquor/beer department right in the front of the store. read more

This is my favorite supermarket in Eau Claire. They carry everything I have on my list. Their veggies are fresh and good. There is an organic session with all kinds of salads and vegetables. The deli is excellent with a great variety of cold cuts , cheeses and salads: chicken, tuna , ham , etc. On Saturdays and Sundays, we can buy fresh roasted turkey or ham. We get 6 rolls free. There is a great variety of fresh fish , shrimps and meat cuts at the meat counter. The aisles are organized and kept very clean. As we leave we go right thru the bakery. There is a great selection of breads, cookies and pies. As we check out we can choose we pack or they pack. You can also take your groceries to the car or they will bring to your car and put all the food in out trunk. A great place to shop read more

I'm a little concerned regarding sanitation with festival foods. The tuna steaks are not to be touching and should be separated from fish that require certain temperatures to be consumed. I asked why the tuna steaks, (that are sushi grade, eaten raw) are being cross contaminated with other fish that require certain temperatures for consumption. They told me that it didn't need to be separated from other fish. I will change this review on safety sanitation changes. Thank you. read more

Although this grocery store is my least favorite it's still a nice store, they have a built in day care so when you're grocery shopping you can leave your kid there so that's pretty nice, the customer service is okay but could be better. I give this grocery store a 4/5 read more

Trying to find a grocery store to shop since Mega East closing..I had tried this store before , but decided to give it another try. The parking lot is aweful for one thing. Im appalled this yelp rating isn't 9 stars out of 5. Value added service, amazing deli, bakery, etc. fair deals on packaged food, great liquor department (don't quite drink but was buying a gift wine as a complete novice). People actually help you find stuff if you need- as in, they walk you over and point to the darn olives and say exactly right here. None of this "aisle 9" crap. read more

A great company to work for and to shop at! The company insists on customer satisfaction and puts the customer's experience above all else. While to some it just might be another grocery store in Eau Claire, this place really tries to be both a large corporate sized grocery store and a local/community hot spot at the same time. Festival Foods gives thousands of dollars to local charities and sponsors the annual Fireworks in the Park on the 4th of July. Every department is willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and if you leave unsatisfied from this store, chances are likely no other store can help you. read more

Prices are OK if you hit a sale. Boys get the carts out of the corals and back in the store immediately....unfortunately they are too cheap to provide carts with child seats (a good 75% are without this convenience). The hot bar food is usually so salty it makes you gag and since I'm a salt-aholic that's really saying something. They never, ever have red potatoes that are large enough to peel, yellow onions that are smaller than a softball or yukon gold potatoes at all...unless you buy a 5 lb bag. Very customer unfriendly for single people. Also you might tell your managers that when they are going to go into a 5 minute tirade berating an employee for having a few hairs that escaped from a bobby pin and hung down over her ear, do it in private and not in front of a line of customers that are waiting in the checkout line. Extremely tacky. If you're so nit picky, why are your shopping carts falling apart. Donate the old ones to homeless people...surely you could write it off. read more
