I was Very disappointed in the quality of the flowers and the display. Many of the flowers were broken or wilted. Some of the bouquets were stuffed so tight into the bins it was impossible to view them. If you are looking for fresh flowers, I'd pass on Festival. I understand that flowers are a secondary product, but it's clear the employees are not trained to make the most of them.

I ordered the lemon raspberry cheesecake and my boyfriend got the door county cherry. Both were amazing! The lemon raspberry was really refreshing and not super sweet. The door county cherry was a delicious traditional cheesecake. The cheesecake had a good consistency and flavor, not super rich. The cupcake size was also perfect for an individual. Definitely a must try for any dessert lover.

The ice cream (which they make themselves) was okay. Nothing to really write home about. It was relatively expensive, and probably not worth the price. Also the service was not to great. This was also on a day that was about 25 degrees, but it didn't make it less good. The price is also not bad. Before finishing the review I kind of forgot and it's been a couple weeks, I returned - yet again in mid-winter during bad snow even, and it was still delicious and didn't even give me brainfreeze or anything. It's even better with mix-ins - though I will say they were rather lazy about doing said mixing in, more like "rolled two times" but it was still tasty. However, because that's a big part of what the place is all about, along with them being rather slow even when it's not too busy, AND them giving one or two small "mix in" pieces/things (i.e. 3 little crumbly bits of cake) they still charge it as a full mix-in if you add something like sprinkles. Hell, sprinkles should be free to begin with, but when you're going to just give me 0.02 cents of "cake" I shouldn't be charged a buck more. These 3 reasons are why it's 4 instead of 5, still great and recommended!
