this was the worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. Im visiting from out of town and had a…read morepaper prescription for medication for my baby so I took it there. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. We waited for over 45 minutes, so I went to check to see what the issue was because we had been there for about an hour, which was frustrating because I would have left to feed my 54 day old had I known the time. They apologized and said they just got the "go ahead" to fill it. I asked if they would prioritize filling it since the wait was three times longer then expected. The pharmacy tech told me "she was working on it now, minus the time it took for her to have this conversation" then she stormed off. It was the rudest encounter I have had possibly ever with someone in customer service. where I work, if we ever treated customers this way we would be fired on the spot. Further more, no pharmacist came to talk to me about this new medication- which actually has pretty serious side effects like bottoming out a baby's blood sugar and respiratory failure. As a nurse, thankfully I'm in health care and know this, but the tech just said "hey you don't have to talk to the pharmacist if you don't want to." You absolutely have to talk to a pharmacist any time you are starting something new- that is standard care. what if I wasn't in health care and just said no and took it and left without any counseling on the blood sugar dip and how important frequent feedings are? they could literally be killing people. Rude and unsafe. unfortunately for the poor people of Chippewa there isn't many options for them. costco Has a nice pharmacy not too far from Chippewa, go there folks.

It's a gas station. What is so great about a gas station? Well, I suppose not much. ?You stop. Fill…read moreup. Get a snack, maybe, and move on. But there just seems to be something about this particular place. Maybe it is the nostalgia (I used to stop here on my way to/from college and home - 1/2 way marker of sorts), or maybe it is just the friendly service. I'd like to say, of all my travels through here, I've found this to be a nice stop. All convenience stores are pricey, that is just the way it is. But the staff is friendly, and the area generally clean. It is always nice to go somewhere where the attendant smiles and doesn't just take your money. And the last time I was there was no exception. Now that the freeway allows you to pretty much skip downtown Chippewa Falls I tend to pass right by, kind of like Radiator Springs in Cars - and many real places on good ol' Route '66. Take your time. Stop and smell the... gas pumps? :)
