I would absolutely, without a doubt, recommend Tom Ferris and his services to anyone looking for someone to do home repairs or projects. I was referred to Tom when the person painting rooms in my new house got injured and could not complete the job. I called Tom and explained the time crunch that I was in. He was able to fit me in right away and provided a detailed estimate of the work that needed to be done. He was kind and very professional. His prices were good and I hired him to finish the paint job. Tom did a fabulous job painting the rooms, and even fixed up some mistakes my previous painter had made. He was able to get the job done in a short amount of time, which allowed me to move in on time. Tom saved the day for me and I will definitely be using his services again. I called Tom because his avowed commitment to quality seemed sincere, and because I needed help with several small repairs, all of which were listed on his page - roofing and gutters, exterior step replacement, fix a ceiling light, and a minor plumbing task, He called not long after I sent my email, and was able to come the next day. Having made appointments in the past with others who turned out to be no-shows, I was happy from the get go because he arrived at the time we had agreed upon. But even better, he turned out to be a very friendly, perceptive and capable person who was well prepared to tackle any task, Tom quickly resolved several problems for a reasonable fee. He struck me as highly ethical, and not the type to cut corners or do unnecessary work. I would recommend him to anyone! read more

Tom truly deserves the 5 star rating. He did a huge amount of work for me in a house that had been damaged by neglectful tenants. The variety of work needed was extensive. Everything from fixing damaged drywall, carpentry, to painting and plumbing. He started by giving me a clear and understandable estimate for both his labor and materials. Tom showed up when he said he would and always kept the worksite clean and neat. Communication was there throughout the entire process. I couldn't have done this without him! read more
