My daily walking commute takes me past Ferrious but with my Yelp days going strong, I decide to be inquisitive and take a step inside. It's in an odd place I always wonder. A sleek, chic, show house type furniture store on Whitworth Street West, with nothing but estate agents around. Located under the arches, it's location is pretty different and a great place to wander on in. Established in 1996, Ferrious has a great portfolio of fans including the Home Office and Chelsea Football Club. Ferrious prides itself on showcasing works from quality, innovative companies. They have some incredible pieces here, large, marsh-mallow sofas, oversized doughnut chairs, clean kitchens and sleek, modern lighting. They stock some of the most innovative brands in home design: Paula Lenti, Moroso and Marset. If you have a down town warehouse apartment, practically anything you purchase in here will look incredible in it. Of course, nothing comes cheap in here but if being individual means a lot to you then there's nothing for it: get out your credit card. read more

I got in touch with Ferrious for furnishing an apartment, as they were the main local supplier for a particular piece of furniture that I was seeking. After they suggested a wider design solution, they didn't bother to send anyone to take measurements, so I had to provide these along with photos. They took forever to follow this up and were extremely slow to respond (making up excuses along the way), which wasted my time and eventually forced me to chase other companies. They appear to be better suited for selling pre-designed high-end furniture rather than the design and fitting services which they pretend to offer. After the quality of service I was provided with, I certainly will not be returning to them for either of those two. read more
