I can't get enough of stores like this. I don't know whether its name refers to the customers who are drawn in by the unusual items in the window or the buyers who trawl the world to bring them to the high street, but either way, Moth offers some of the most unique gifts you can buy in Didsbury. I've only bought a candle in here before, but if I had the money I would have bought a whole lot more. From vases, jewellery, mirrors, lamps, art, vintage furniture, there is at least one thing in here that every person who walks through the door finds themselves needing. This is a delightful Boudoir selling stylish household items soaps and jewellery . I bought some lovely christmas lights last year that were very ususual like pods and enjoyed the effect all over christmas. Moth is a really lovely shop to browse around. The shop stocks a range of interior goods from mirrors and stick on wall motifs to candles, light fittings, and pretty bowls. These are all some very beautiful goods but most of them out of my price range. The lady who owns the shop is friendly and helpful and unlike other quiet boutique-type shops you do not feel watched as you wander around. Situated alongside the other independent shop and bars of Burton Road in Didsbury it is a lovely place to visit, and good place to go to pick up something special. read more

An excellent place to find those gifts you couldn't find at the generic high-street shops. The butterfly canvas' are extremely nice, and the owner is very friendly and happy to help.
