Instead of waiting in the hot Texas sun outside a glorified rabbit hutch, now you can go inside an air conditioned mini mart to buy your snacks, drinks, pay for gas, or get your Lotto tickets. It's really nice inside. The new pumps are cool, and have tap pay with your credit card. The screens are easy to read. This is a nice improvement over what was there before.

I mostly go to the "Y" Drive In to fill up our propane tank. There are fewer places since the pandemic where you can take your own tank to refill. The folks at "Y" Drive In always are friendly, positive, and helpful. Just go pay for the amount you need, and then show the receipt to the friendly attendant, and they will take care of it. It's great to find a place that has both a good product and excellent customer service. That's the difference between a chain store and one that is locally owed and operated. No whining at the "Y"! This is a self-service gas station with a mini convenience store selling the impulse buy items,…read moredrinks, snacks, and smokes. The gas prices are among the lowest, not so much with the rest. Murphy Gas is located at the NE corner of Hwy 281 (I-69-C) and Canton in front of Harbor Frieght and across Canton Road from the Walmart Supercenter. The clerks here are usually efficient, occasionally friendly. The premises are well maintained and landscaped. No bathrooms. Other than that, in spite of being a regular customer, there's not much else to say.
