His truck kept stalling out and losing oil and sounded really rough. He had to have it towed to this place. They had it for 2 1/2 weeks. We picked it up Thanksgiving eve in pouring rain. They inspected the truck also. Cost $2500 for repairs. My son had his daughter in the truck going home. The tire they put on to inspect it was so low with air, he drove home in pouring rain, dark out, the truck kept stalling out on him. Place is now closed. Day after Thanksgiving he went to bring it back and the truck died. Had to have it towed again. They kept it for another 2 + weeks. Had to pay another $2200. He drove it home and it kept stalling on him. He drove it for a few days to work things thru. It sounds worse than when he first took it, leaking oil like crazy. $4700+ and 5 weeks later truck is in worse shape than when he first took it. We will not be having any vehicles serviced there. When we picked the truck up the second time it was the day after snow storm-it was in the lot with about 50 other vehicles-they had no idea where it was. So my son went thru and brushed snow off the other vehicles until he found his while they all sat on their butts. I finally said give me a freaking shovel and I will shovel him out. Im 68 years old. Finally someone did something. This place is a complete joke. I wouldnt take any vehicle to them.

First off they had my car on the lift for over an hour before they even pulled the front and rear wheels off. Then I saw the manager talking to the mechanic. Seems like they were colluding as to what to tell me to get a repair that I knew I wouldn't need because the GM dealer had recently gone through the entire vehicle within the last 300 miles. They failed my mechanical inspection BECAUSE THEY SAID THERE WAS RUST ON THE EDGES OF THE REAR ROTORS! I told the manager that the brake pads don't even hit that surface edge and he was insistent that they do. Sorry but I've changed rotors and pads on brakes for 50 years and brake pads do not cover the entire surface of the rotor which leaves an edge to rust slightly. The mechanic also told me the car was out of alignment and needed to be fixed. WHAT??!!! Since when does any shop check alignments for inspections? So they would not pass my mechanical but did pass my emissions. I then traveled back up to Sayre PA to that Mavis shop where they confirmed that there was no issue with the brakes. So if that manager tried to convince a knowledgeable man that I should replace the rotors when they were perfectly fine just think of what they tell people that don't know how to check what they are telling them! Go to another shop or or drive up to Sayre PA Mavis where you will receive HONEST and professional service.
