The refried beans are very white, I almost thought they were using white beans. The rest of the table pretty much ordered either Steak Ranchero or combo enchiladas and they all seemed to like their food. I thought the ambiance was not quite festive like a typical Mexican restaurant you might see in other parts of the US. It was kind of cold and unwelcoming. That might have something to do with our group being seated in the westernmost room of the restaurant. Service was okay, but it did take a little bit to get refills on our soft drinks.
