Fernando's is truly a hidden gem! They made my Pinterest vision board dreams come to life from my home!! We worked closely with Gabriel to build our kitchen cabinets along with some additional cabinets for our hallway and bathroom, and he and his team are some of the nicest most helpful people we encountered during our home renovation process. And so talented too! My husband and I shopped around so much for a place we could trust and would provide quality kitchen cabinetry. Think big box retails and even smaller, independent places. But nothing left us truly feeling like we could trust them, especially as quality overall has really gone down when it comes to goods. The kitchen aspect was a headache and the hardest part of our home renovation process. We wanted something that would last us because regardless of where you go & whether it's custom or not, it is an investment. And man, does Fernando's sure provide wonderful high end custom cabinets at a reasonable price. They were actually recommended to us by two separate contractors/friends so we knew we had to check them out. Their family has been in the business for DECADES and you can truly see it in the craftsmanship of what they deliver. We were on a budget and I really do think that for the service and quality they are fair priced. I felt so much relief working with them. Gabriel worked with us to help us select everything from the kitchen design, cabinet styles, colors, wood type and hardware. The cabinets honestly came out better than what I had on my Pinterest boards haha. Their customer service is great and they are also just genuinely nice and kind people, the kind of people that deserve business. Support small family owned shops like theirs, please! read more

Fernando's has my complete vote of confidence. They are on top of communication and have a wonderful selection to help you bring to life your dream kitchen, restroom, closet, etc. Gabe helped us with styling our kitchen and restroom cabinets. Cabinets are well made and feel very durable. They have very competitive pricing and believe they are the best option. We were in talks with Home Depot and a few smaller providers but felt like there was a disconnect between our rep and the manufacturer. Oftentimes, we were sold "real wood" only to find medium density fiber (similar to Ikea but at a premium). I had no concerns at Fernando's. Fernando's has the front office, manufacturing, and installation all under one roof. If you're time poor, want quality, and want on time delivery, go with Fernando's. Definitely not something I want to gate keep as I'll be returning for a future reno (I'm sure). read more

5 Stars - Amazing Experience! When it was time to renovate my bathroom vanities, I knew right away I wanted to go with Fernando's Construction. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in good hands. I worked with Blanca, and she was fantastic! She walked us through every step, helping us choose the perfect cabinets, colors, sink, faucets, and knobs. She really listened to what we wanted and made the whole process easy and stress-free. If you're looking for a team that knows their stuff and actually cares about getting things right, I highly recommend Fernando's Construction. Great experience from start to finish! read more

Pequeño building material pero lleno de muchas sorpresas en cuanto a herramientas y materiales. Ellos te cargan más rápido que Home Depot. No tienes que dilear con la espera, bajarte 2 veces del carro para que te carguen. Sales y entras como el IN & OUT entrada y salida! Tienen lo básico de herramientas para concrete finish! read more

Do not go here - worked with them on multiple projects and always issues. Their internal communication is not existent-carpenters don't speak to management about order specifics (you can bring pictures & specific measurements - when you arrive at the agreed pick up day & time it's like a deer in headlights- no one know what you ordered). Plus THEY become aggressive towards paying customers when you try to rectify the situation. Stay away, take your money elsewhere read more

Communication challenging. Promised an estimate by a certain day. Unprofessional. They keep changing their story. These are the kind of places to avoid. Not worth bigger headaches later read more

This place is my favorite for any flooring needs. They don't just have great selection and competitive prices but also they hook you up with the flooring installers. And those guys are all professionals installers read more

This company is the worst. We signed a contract in November for them to build three small custom cabinets. They promised delivery within two or three weeks. More than six weeks have passed and all we get are lies. It is all but impossible to get someone to return a call. When they do, they claim that they will be delivered in a few days, but this has gone on for three weeks and they still have not delivered them. They are completely unreliable. read more

We just had our kitchen cabinet's done they were on schedule we were very satisfied couldn't have chosen a better place. Employees there are very pleasant and willing to help read more

Not bad at all! Custom made cabinets are having all my guests admiring the office. Five stars because of excellent service (thank you Blanca), fair price, timely deliveries, and quality work & materials (no scratches or paint marks, drawers open and close smoothly, balanced and spaced out impeccably & good quality materials not compressed wood, color looks excellent) Door knobs combined with the color perfectly too. read more

I was very disappointed with this place. I picked up a scoop of gravel. The price was comparable with other places but the size of the scoop was noticeably smaller. It was approx. 40% less than 4 other places I have bought gravel from in the recent past. I will not be back. It makes more sense to drive to Prime Building Materials in north Hollywood. read more

I had been looking for a bar for my new house and a friend recommended Fernando's Lumber. They are known for the great cabinets they make but my friend said they can also build a bar for me. I designed the bar to my liking and sent the design over to them. They did an awesome job! My bar was done the following week and delivered. Great price and friendly staff. I have gotten so many compliments on my bar. Thank you so much Blanca :) read more

Horrible customer service, I've been calling for 3 weeks hoping someone would call me back, I finally heard back from Blanca, I asked her to send someone to measure my kitchen for cabinets, she said yes I'll send a man out. That was a week ago and I haven't heard anything since. I ended up getting them from HD supplies in north Hollywood. Great prices and much better quality read more

These guys are awesome. We've ordered two sets of custom-built kitchen cabinets from them . They use real wood and will do any size, shape, design and finish. They're fast, do a great job and their prices can't be beat, Plus Blanca, the manager/salesperson, is super knowledgeable and easy to work with. What a great local find! read more
