Completely disgusting and appalled by what my wife experienced with Dr. Sass - please read about…read moreher experience with him: For those of you who are frustrated with the US healthcare system, and my fellow cancer fighting / mental illness fighting friends, this actually happened to me today. I've never felt so humiliated/angry/frustrated with a doctor. Since I have moved, I was trying to find a new primary care doctor nearby. Due to insurance issues (don't get me started on that), I need a new psychiatrist and meanwhile needed my psych meds refilled from a primary doc. My old primary doc in Philadelphia always did that with no issue. Also had a few minor health concerns I wanted to mention. I found a doc, set up an appointment for today. They said all new patients have to have a physical. I was fine with that. I had all of my medical records sent over from my primary doc in Philadelphia. I fasted from midnight as they requested in prep for the bloodwork. They took a urine sample, took 4 vials of blood (couldn't find a vein and poked me like 5 times), did an EKG, checked blood pressure. I filled out a load of paperwork. Then I waited. And waited. And waited to see the doctor. In a freezing cold room in a tiny hospital gown. About an hour later, he appears and tells me that he has a large practice and he can pick and choose patients, he doesn't have to take on new patients. He tells me he read through my "56 pages of medical records" and that I'm too "medically complicated" for him to take on as a new patient, due to my cancer history and my history of mental illness. He then goes even further by telling me he can't prescribe me any of my meds because I'm on "too many medications", and that taking me on as a patient would be too much of a legal risk for him. He said he didn't want to be held legally liable for prescribing me my meds or for taking me on as a patient. At this point, I was near tears. It felt like being rejected at a job interview! I asked him what he was going to do with my 4 vials of blood and urine sample and he said they will be discarding the samples and not running any of the lab tests. I'm ready to just go back to my doc in Philadelphia, it's worth the hour drive to me at this point. I wasted an entire morning on this appointment. Hours of my day, gone. Has anyone ever had such an experience of being rejected by a doctor for being too complicated/too much of a legal risk? I need to call tomorrow to make sure I'm not going to be billed for that useless appointment. The whole experience was so deflating.

The receptionist suggested I go to the ER and pay out-of-pocket costs to be treated for a SINUS INFECTION. I ended up going to an urgent care center, eating the costs of the visit since they were not in-network, but was instructed to follow up with my PCP if I did not fully improve. I called Dr. Buddala's office again today and was told that she didn't have any available appointments until APRIL. THIS IS LITERALLY 5 MONTHS FROM THE TIME OF MY INITIAL CALL!!! I did not choose this doctor but unfortunately, this is who I am stuck with due to her being in-network with my insurance. This practice needs to be reported to the State Board of Medical Examiners for failure to provide timely, appropriate and adequate patient care.

The best part other than the most thorough physical you have ever had with virtually all the results returned within a few hours, is that you spend an hour or more speaking with your Doctor at the end of the physical asking every question you may have and discussing any issue you may have or are concerned you may have. This is the type of physical we should all have on a regular basis.

This year after the missed appointment it was said that is was a zoom link and that I should have gotten a zoom link to my email the day I booked it (I called to let them know that the doctor never called me)...... Then it was said that the link would not come from Princeton Longevity Center....... If I knew it was a ZOOM I would have been on the ZOOM. [When you book your appointment there is one little section prompting a ZOOM follow up call- portion where you have to click to move to the next page] It's comical writing the review.... really I was just floored that the older woman on the phone was so quick to say pay $50 and I can reschedule that for you.... and that was all she was going to do. An update: I emailed the Director of Patient and Corporate services- Andrea L. The Director of services took the time out of her day... really took the time.... to screen shot and highlight the fine print of it being a zoom call. She highlighted 4 points of a "Zoom" mention really only being on two days. The day you book the appointment and the day you are told to scan a QR code which also was more than a month apart. No follow up and no work done by their actual team in the office. I booked the appointment on Jan 8th. I did not see the fine print that the director took the time out of her day to highlight and send back to me as a pretty much "Bite me" remark. Feb 10th (More than a month later) I had my appointment and was told to scan the QR code to book a call. Did I read the QR code the director also so kindly enlarged for me just now in an email to tell me to basically "Piss off"? No, I SCANNED the QR code and booked my appointment and the Dr. said she would call on the 24th. There was no Zoom mention from when I was there checking in at their office to leaving is what I was saying on the phone and why I emailed the director for help because I do not miss appointments especially one where I had to take off of work and drive more than an hour to so I would not have missed that follow up appointment. I think it's unprofessional and especially of the director to reply the way she did. I have been in customer service throughout my career and I never felt more disregarded by the girl who works at the front desk and the director..... Truly as if I was emailing a 20 year old girl who got her first job. Andrea went so far as to send me a non-disparagement agreement. (Over $50 ..) Telling me that Once my Yelp review was taken down and she received a signed copy of the attached agreement, she will have my follow up appointment rescheduled by phone and waive the $50 fee... I mean it's also upsetting that the Director would reply just like that below ( look at all the other bad review replies) and say those things about myself to cover her own character .... Asking a client to take down their review when I simply asked if she would waive the $50 fee. It was because of the way the Director replied to me over 50 bucks... In my second email I said if you can't waive it is what it is...but if something was really wrong the Doctor would have to call me right? That is when the director felt she needed to "stick it to me" for it being a Zoom call lol.... she did not even answer my question. I felt all she cared about was her name and this review! Did I explain my situation to one woman on the phone when I called and then she had me on hold to transfer me to another named Alex, who I had to re-explain my situation to and still could or would not help? Yes. They could help but would not help. I get it some businesses won't right? I felt it was the way they had me on hold, the way Alex replied and the way the Director replied that I took the time to write this review. Did I think the lady that sounded older, named Alex, on the phone, was no help.. yes? Did I bully her lol? No... Was I upset and frustrated that I could not speak to the Dr. without paying 50 dollars... yes?? Was I upset with the way I felt Alex did not give a care, yes!? Did I then email the director for help, yes. Did the director reply trying to stick it to me about a Zoom call after I said it is what it is.. because I GENUINELY did not know it was a Zoom call... yes and she did the same with her reply just below. Meanwhile I literally replied off the Zoom call link (after they told me the company the link is from...) asking for help..... Did Andrea only offer me one day and time to speak to her? Yes. Did the Physician Communicate her results 24 hours after my appointment. No. She did not. Did Andrea, how I felt, harass me via email to take down this review? Yes... Head of a department?... with training in customer service..... I'd say her reply says enough ....... And I'll leave it at that..
