Oof, where to begin? How about THEY ALMOST TRIPLE OVERDOSED MY SON?! Made an appointment early this…read morepast Tuesday morning for 9:40am for him to be seen. They seemed to be moving patients quickly, so I was optimistic. They called us in at 10:04am--not terrible, BUT a doctor didn't appear in our room until almost 10:30. At this point, my 2yo is getting aggravated from sitting so long, and I actually had to stick my head out and ask when the doctor would be coming in. 5 minutes later he appears and I explain why we're here. He was nice and attentive, I will say that, BUT my son was playing on his iPad and started taking pics and videos while I was talking. I guess he excitedly showed the doctor and the doctor reaches out (what I assumed was say "cool" or whatever) and instead goes "that's illegal" and quickly deleted it. Umm buddy, he's 2, you can't seriously think he's trying to set you up. I found that SUPER AWKWARD, especially when I was sitting right there and would have gladly deleted it. Moving on, the doctor leaves to "go check the appropriate dose" of what he wants to prescribe and we wait 10 more minutes before the nurse comes back with the printout that says they submitted the e prescription at 10:54am and we are free to go. By time we're back at the car, it's after 11am, and as if that wasn't bad enough, we get to the pharmacy 20 minutes later and they have no record (which was odd as every other doctors go right through), but I said no prob I'll come back later. I circle back around 2pm and again no record. They check a little further until the pharmacist overhears and comes up to tell me SHE LEFT A VOICEMAIL FOR THE DR BECAUSE THE MED HE PRESCRIBED CAN A) BE BOUGHT OVER THE COUNTER but B) IS ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE GIVEN 1x A DAY, YET HIS SCRIPT SAID EVERY 6 HOURS FOR FIVE DAYS. She was legit concerned "he'd OD the patient" HER EXACT WORDS!!! MY 2yo SON! In short, don't waste your time. That place is a HOT mess, with no decorum. Also, the manager finally reached today, TWO days later, because they kept leaving me voicemails and texts asking for reviews, so I finally called back and went off how it's been two days, my son was still uncomfortable, no meds, I had to make a second appointment at his actual pediatrician (which is farther way), oh AND, these folks had the nerve to still charge me a copay. And of course, when the manager called she blamed it all on the pharmacist, even though she acknowledged that her provider was the one who wrote the script out wrong. In short, if you care about your loved ones, this place is DANGEROUS. Avoid at all costs!! Would give zero stars if I could.

If you want to be on the grid, then Raritan Family Healthcare is the place for you! The doctors -…read morein my experience as a patient - were quick to prescribe a pill in the 7 minutes they will spend with you, and keep you coming in for anything you are not willing to do the work for to prevent your declining health in the first place. Don't fool yourself - this is a BUSINESS and they are in it for the money, same as any other. Sadly, the medical system in America is doing a poor job of helping individuals at the root of their problems, but in even trying to get an exemption for an out-of-network doctor this office was unwilling to do so without an in-person visit. Guess what - I'm WILLING to pay the extra $20 a visit to my out-of-network naturopathic doctor so I don't HAVE to come in for yet another fake diagnosis. I've learned how to take care of myself (and shame on you, reader, if you don't) and lowered my own blood pressure without meds, stopped eating like 'an American', and I MOVE instead of sitting on my butt all day...I suggest you do the same and stop relying on doctors who want your business - and only your business - not your good health.

The assistant seemed well-aware of it. So, we had the physicals. They drew blood for some checking. In fact, I had to do my X-ray (which I did from outside upon their advise). Up to this point, I thought it went well and everything is good. But, later after 4 months, I got bills from never heard Labs that I have to pay for the tests that were being performed. I came to know that this place sent all our tests to third party (out-of-network). The bill was around $700 which my insurance did not cover. My question is: why the assistance did not tell me that they sends the tests outside of the Network? She knows my insurance (Cigna) and I am sure there must be lots of other patience who comes from Cigna and must have argued same. So, what this absurd place gained by ruining us? We already pay a fortune to this insurance company and when we need it, we still need to pay? I simply, do not recommend this place or any place which makes other peoples life miserable. I wanted to give no star at all but Yelp did not let me choose.

The front desk lady told me that I should do a check-up appointment and I asked if it would be free. She had my file open and said that my insurance would cover it all. I had not come in to have an appointment, but she scheduled me for the next day. The doctor called in the new prescription that day, so there was no reason to go other than the fact that the front desk lady told me it would be free. I come in the next day for the check-up. The doctor and the nurse ask me why I came. She was confused, but I explained the front desk lady said it was free. The doctor said I was healing fine, but that I needed the prescription (which I hadn't been able to take since my diagnosis). Then, after my insurance was charged, they barely covered anything! I sent in a message through the portal about why it wasn't free with my insurance like I was told. I received a message back saying that I shouldn't trust the front desk people to tell me how much I will be paying and, that because it was already submitted to the insurance, that they will not be reimbursing me. I will NOT be returning here again. If I cannot trust your staff's word, how can I trust your practice?
