A couple of weeks ago, it must've bumped against something and the entire thing swelled up and a large blood clot formed. I was in a lot of pain and nervous about what to do next. I did some research and found the Vein Treatment Clinic. I was able to get a very quick appointment which is impressive given we're in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. The staff took all the precautions to make sure safety protocols were followed and checking in was seamless. I met with one of the staff (Julianne) who was friendly, knowledgeable, and walked me through what to expect. Then I met with Dr. Juan Montoya who examined me. Both of them were total pros and really took their time to answer questions while giving me a broad overview of my problem and veins in general. I felt like I received an invaluable education. Going in, I was expecting the worst of course. Dr. Juan made me feel totally at ease and gave me assurances that he didn't want to do anything too overboard and that I'd be fine.
