Do you do colonoscopy with no sedation? How much is the precedure? Do you take Medicare insutance?

Hi Lexy! Happy to help. Virtual Colonoscopy is done without sedation and is medically non-invasive. It is as reliable and accurate as the invasive procedure and much safer with no risk of colon perforation. It takes just 20 minutes with a quick scan… Read more

They have a fancy building but don't have the staff to back it up. (in fairness, I am sure there are some good people there but I have never seen them in the ER) Worse, they are grossly overcharging patients. I definitely recommend everyone ask for all charges up front and make sure they are reasonable. I had them charge me $8000 for a test that should have cost $1500 if you look at average costs for the tests nationally. I was never told anything about this insane charge up front and would have went to a local radiology place if I was. When asked if they would negotiate it to something reasonable, I was told they won't negotiate their bills. They are what they are. I saw two doctors there. One was very good. Another one, I spent a year seeing and she came up with two diagnosis which I actually suggested to her and asked her to test for. She came up with nothing on her own but never refrained from charging me. Sad that such a beautiful hospital is so poorly run!

In addition to three tests (Flu, Covid, and Strep), which all came out negative, she checked my lungs, my lymph nodes, etc. etc. She took the time to explain (and print out) what things I had been doing that I should continue, what I should change (and why). She also wrote out a scrip for an anti-biotic, for me to use just in case the new treatments do not have any effect after two more days. She even sent a scrip to my regular pharmacy for some things that are available over the counter, in case that would help me to get them with prescription coverage. So, overall: a great experience while I was feeling pretty crummy. She was professional and empathic. Much more than at urgent care locations, such as Carbon Health. My new go to plan will be to avoid "urgent care" places and go to CVS minute clinics instead.

Given my history of recurrent UTIs, I went to urgent care immediately after taking Pyridium, so my symptoms were very mild. On the fourth day of my antibiotic course, this facility FAILED to follow up with me regarding the urinalysis and urine culture results to ensure my symptoms were improving and the prescribed antibiotics were appropriate. Unfortunately, my condition worsened compared to the first day, so I called them for a different antibiotic. It was confusing why I had to physically return for a new prescription when all they needed to do was adjust my medication and send it to my pharmacy. The front desk insisted that I still needed to come in. If they needed to collect a specimen again, that would make sense, but changing my antibiotic should have been straightforward. I called and waited over two hours for the nurse practitioner to return my call. They finally got in touch two days later, which was already the sixth day of taking the initial antibiotics. Who the hell wants to take antibiotics for almost two weeks? While the NPs and MDs are busy seeing patients, the front desk lady should facilitate communication between patients and medical professionals rather than jusy relaying messages. I am also a nurse with experience in hospitals, urgent care, and private practices. I can confidently say this place ranks among the WORST in professionalism I've been.

Upon calling the office for guidance after experiencing terrible nausea & vomiting, It was brought to my attention that they never scheduled me as a new OB patient. They gave me 1 week to get labs / US before coming in for my rescheduled appointment. After my first appointment, pinky the scheduler couldn't wait for me to respond to schedule following appointments and filled me in wherever. I made my night shift schedule according to what I was given and at the time it made my scheduling easier. Then came the calls to reschedule- I work nights and have 2 older kids in school- plans had been made already and this became very inconvenient switching shifts and making sure I had someone to pick up & drop my kids off to school. After week 19 of pregnancy - I brought it to my providers attention that I had a VERY strong history of preeclampsia and not once had my urine been checked for protein. I left a sample at this visit- and it had still not been checked. However, what they did check my urine for was drugs, after answering every question about drug use with NO! 3 visits in a row- I left urine samples for them to check my urine, and this had not been done. This practice does not listen to their patients concerns or take their history into consideration. I will NEVER use this office, nor would I recommend their services to anyone.

Absolutely horrific, they should be ashamed how they treat their patients…read more I came to this office in January after struggling to get pregnant. I saw Dr. Rastogi, and she immediately diagnosed me with PCOS and told me I need to go to a fertility doctor. I was of course alarmed, overwhelmed, and shocked because I had not heard this before. (I am in my 30s, and this was the first time I was hearing PCOS). I asked if there was anything we could do to help regulate my cycle before jumping to that drastic measure, like supplements, at home testing, natural methods and she said "you could get back on birth control, or lose some weight." My BMI is 24, I am not overweight. And how awful to suggest going back on birth control, when she knew we are trying to get pregnant. The only positive thing that came out of this visit, was a referral to Dr. Keegan, the fertility specialist. I have been a patient of Dr. Keegan's since January, and happy to report am now 8 weeks pregnant. They told me to schedule an appointment with my OBGYN for 10 weeks. I called Princeton OBGYN and after being on hold for 45 minutes, just requested a call back. Someone called me back , and said "Sorry we are not accepting new patients." I said I am not a new patient, I am a current patient. She said "We are not taking any pregnant patients, it doesn't matter if you're current." WHAT?! I told her that Dr. Keegan wants me to be under someone's care, and she said there was nothing she could do. She said "Try calling back in December, we might be accepting patients then." I cannot believe this, I would not recommend this office to anyone. I understand not taking new patients, but cutting off current patients?! I have never heard of such a thing. Thank you for the added stress.

In order to have a full Ablation, I had to first have a Bilateral L 4 S 1 Medial Branch Block which he did perform but it did not do anything for me so I did not have the Ablation as Medicare would not cover the procedure. Instead, Dr Patel then prescribed a Buprenorphine patch to wear on my back in order to stop the pain. He did not tell me that it had opioids in it and, if I had known this, I would have never paid the $167 which I had to pay the pharmacy after Medicare since I had had very serious side effects from previously prescribed opioid pain killers. It took me 5 days to receive the prescription due to Insurance issues but I placed the patch on my back when I eventually received it. I had few side effects for the first 48 hours but then I became seriously dizzy and drowsy after I had driven some distance to take a Haitian refugee to the doctor. Fortunately, the Haitian was not at home so I was able to drive home alone and remove the patch after speaking to Dr Patel's nurse practitioner who told me to do so and never to wear it again. It would have been very foolish to have driven with a passenger in the condition I was in. I removed the patch as soon as I got home and it took me another 24 hours to get back to normal. In addition to all this, I had had a Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TCAVR) for my heart in Nov and taking opioids was not recommended. Why did Dr Patel not tell me that the patch had opioids. Very unprofessional and I will not be seeing him again.
