I tell them this so they don't give me one date and that's it cause it's what they always do. And if you ask questions or tell them that whatever date they gave you does not work for you they become rude. It's a shame because Dr.Rosado is by far the best doctor I've ever seen. They said they cannot treat that there. Seems insane that a medical practice urgent care unit would not have epinephrine or steroids on hand. I think this had more to do with the fact they were closing 10 minutes from my arrival, this was highly unethical and my situation could have been fatal. They suggested I drive 12 minutes down the road to the ER. I said, I'm actively experiencing anaphylaxis. They did not offer to call 911 for me (wouldn't want to be held up from going home by someone needing an ambulance, would they?). They said, "well, you can try." There is another urgent care office just a few minutes down the road. I was taken there instead, where they promptly saved my life. This office is garbage and should be investigated. I could have died.

It was an easy decision to latch on to the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center network because I used the hospital facilities while living in Philly, and found them to be expert in all fields of medicine. If they were opening offices near me, the choice was already made. The mountain was coming to Mohammed. I discovered that they were adopting a name that referenced their new location rather than rely only upon the historic references. No harm in that as long as the professionalism didn't suffer as a result. Legal niceties and all that, you know. Dr. Li fits my notion of a well trained, caring physician to a "T." Still young enough to remember his days as a student, intern and resident, he is consciencous, while being able to relate to patients as if they really mattered. I am very happy with my choice. Too, the overall practice is diligent, and has implemented a computer communication system with patients that is easy to access and work through to track appointments, prescriptions and questions that need as answers. Admittedly, I might have ignored all this modernization but for Covid, but now that it promotes safety for everyone and is more than just the latest thing, I have taken to it and appreciate how it instills social distancing, while allowing doctors to move efficiently through the day and actually treat more people. Ron has been a patient of Dr. Geeta Vaze for more than 1 year and he was seen at her office, 726 Welsh Rd. suite 101. Huntingdon Valley, Pa 19016. Papers were filled out but NEVER sent to ophthalmologist office, Dr. Scott Zeigen. JULY 29 Zeigen's office had not received paperwork. Ron telephoned Dr. Vaze's office and the lady said she had the paperwork on the desk, would send it immediately. July 31, Dr. Zeigen's office reported never receiving fax of paperwork. Dr. Vaze's office is closed Wednesdays so at 9:10 am I left message with answering service to have her call me. Called again 9:44 and asked operator to have Doctor on-call contact me. Was told Dr. Vaze WAS the doctor on-call. 9:38 telephoned office of husband (GI physician) and left message. Dr. VAZE NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS This lady called me with paperwork at11:35. SURGERY CANCELED I file this complaint due to the incompetence, ignorance, and disregard for the well-being of a long-time patient. Ron was very upset, crying, due to fear of the surgery, and this office, especially the doctor, could not be bothered to return my emergency calls. Ron has been under her care because he trusted that she would give him good care and be a responsible physician. She is NOT!. She did not do this and showed blatant disregard for his well-being. It is convenient and most importantly, providing world class medicine to individuals and families due to the expertise so close at hand at the main facilities in Philadelphia. While my PCP (Personal Care Physician) is right there, my cardiologist and urologist are right downtown 30 minutes away. They have an excellent online presence where I can schedule appointments, see lab results and exchange messages with my doctor and staff. The time saved from telephone holding is tremendous, and worth the price of admission. This technology really works. I feel integrated into their network, as all my doctors use the same site, called My PennMed. Now that I am finally catching up with my health maintenance delayed by Covid the past two years, I am feeling more confident that I am taking care of myself the right way again with the help of the PennMed health system. That sense of security is priceless in this day and age.

Because of him I learned why I had been feeling so ill for all of those years. I had severe deficiencies with my Vitamin D and Iron. He got me on prescription Vitamin D and Iron and even called me on the phone to see how I was doing with the medication. Dr. Kaladas called for follow up blood work to monitor my progress. I'm happy to report that I've been feeling so much better in the short 4 months that I've been under Dr. Kaladas' care. My family has noticed that I have more energy. My Vitamin D and Iron levels have improved. I recommend this doctor. The only thing that I wish is for Dr. Kaladas to be affiliated with more than just one hospital (Somerset Medical Center).
